Ohio Nails Spa Blue Ash — Attraction in Blue Ash

I have been going to Ohio Nails for about 10-11 years. When the new owners took over, they did do a lot of updates - give it more of a spa feel. But I go there for the service. I have brought my son and father here and recommended it to many friends with several going there now. I even took my team there once for Christmas as a treat, and they let us bring in wine. My team loved it!

Over the years, I've had acrylic nails but now they are natural. I've done gels and dips and was always having them do different things - the photos are a TINY example of the things I would come up with. Now, my usual is to get a manicure without polish and a pedicure with gel. I will only see Le; however, Tiffany and Lynn are also great. My dad really likes Tiffany, and she always asks about him when I come in! Same with Le - they ask about my son, too, as he used to go with me when he was younger and play on my iPad. I've also treated him to manicures.

A couple of times, when I had the acrylics, I would get my nails done elsewhere - like Blue Ash Nails. I think I got them done at some place at Kenwood Mall once years ago, too. Never again will I do that. Blue Ash Nails totally screwed up my acrylics. And one time, I was at this fancy resort in Mexico, and THAT manicure was HORRIBLE. The polish was chipping within an hour. I told Le I would never "cheat" on Ohio Nails again.

I'm pretty shocked by some of the negative comments. I've never had an issue with the quality of my service. I think I could count the number of times the polish has chipped on one hand. They always make it right. Most of the time, I can go WEEKS without a chip. They are always super friendly, and Le gives the BEST foot massages. I always get a little gift during the holidays, too.

The ONLY complaint I have is that they do sometimes try to juggle more than one customer. I know a friend of mine got really mad about that. They left her soaking while they worked on someone else for a little bit. That doesn't bother me so much as I'm usually playing on my iPad or relaxing in the massage chair. Plus, many places run into staffing issues, so I have learned to just chill about it. I do always make an appointment as I've seen people get turned away.

I’ve been to Ohio Nails multiple times and usually the service is very good. This time around, I unfortunately didn’t have the same experience. I hate to give a negative review to a smaller business like this one but my experience was just disappointing. I’d also like to preface by saying I’m a licensed cosmetologist and know the anticipated results of these services. I had a wedding to go to the weekend after my visit and treated myself to a pedicure and a full set of acrylics; I was unfortunately underwhelmed by both services. My pedicure didn’t remove any of my callouses and my toenails were somehow barely even filed. I left looking as though I had just painted my toenails at home, without a pedicure. As for the acrylics, I genuinely don’t believe I’ve ever been so disappointed. I left with nails all different lengths and shapes, acrylic on my cuticles which has since caused them to lift only a week later, uneven polish, and inconsistent filing throughout the nail. I have had this set for a week and, like I said, a majority of them are lifting at the cuticle. I’ve since shaped them and attempted to even out the filing on the nail itself, but some of them are just too far gone to fix, especially those with acrylic hanging over the cuticle. Like I said, I’m a licensed cosmetologist and honestly wish I would’ve saved myself the $70-ish and done my toes and...

I recently visited Ohio Nails Spa in Blue Ash, and I was so impressed! The salon is now under new management, and they've made some amazing changes. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming!

There are now technicians that can do acrylic nails, designer nails, dipping powder gel, and eyebrow waxing. They've also added a wide selection of new colors and collections, perfect for any event or occasion you need to prep for!

The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, and I truly appreciated their attention to detail. I had a wonderful experience with my mani-pedi, and my nails have never looked better. The services are top-notch, and the prices are reasonable.
