Smoothie King — Restaurant in Blue Springs

Reviewed 7/20/24 Came here 7/19/24 at 8pm (an hour before they close) and ordered 2 pb swizzle smoothie bowls.. they both looked like they had more granola than anything. It looked like there was about 1/4 of acai in the bowls and barely any peanut butter on top. I’m not the type to ever complain because i come here often and they make it perfect everytime but this time it was just not it. I also noticed that the worker making my bowls DID NOT wear any gloves!? I had called them this morning ( 7/20/24) and the employee working had called her manager and said they could only give me 25% off…. I paid 25$ for both bowls and all i get is 25% off ?? I told her i wasn’t asking for my money back, all i was asking for is just a simple remake.. mind you i told her i have my receipt and photos of how they looked.. but told me i have to wait til Monday to speak to the manager about it. I just think the response and offering 25% off of a 25$ order...

I've been to this location a few times and have used the app to order ahead to have our drinks brought out to us. Today we sat in pick up line for almost 20 minutes past our pick up time. The workers saw us sitting there through the drive- thru window. My daughter walked inside to ask about our drinks. Both workers were on their phones and told her they didn't bring our order to us because of the weather 😒 It was raining. My daughter walked in and out with our drinks and was barely wet.

If you offer order ahead pick up your employees should be prepared to walk out no matter what...

Horrible experience. If you want to wear your drink visit this location. Recieved drink with lid half on and drink spilled all over the outside. Asked to have it cleaned off and the top put on and clerk acted put out. Handed back the drink and the outside was still covered in spilt drink. Had to ask for napkins and had them shoved at me. When asked for managers name clerk shut window and turned back on me. When spoke to manger the next day she appeared to be uncaring and was about as rude as the clerk as she hung up on me.
