This review is to advise readers to double check their paperwork and compare to their receipt. We bought an engagement ring from Grown Brilliance, an AJS Creations LLC, Jan 2025.
Upon receipt that evening, we inspected our paperwork and center diamond. And although the ring was beautiful, per the certificate, the center stone received was inferior quality to what we paid for. The next day, we went to the store in Boca Raton to have a new one sent with correct diamond.
They reviewed the stone and certificate and agreed it was not right based on our receipt. However, we would have to send the ring back so HQ could confirm the certificate was indeed the correct one for that stone. (sigh; the numbers all matched)
If, and only If they agreed the certificate was the correct one for that diamond (or, did they receive the wrong paperwork? is what they were saying), then they would replace the stone with one equal to what the receipt said we paid for and it would take a few weeks.
We were not comfortable with any of this.
We questioned the possibility of the paperwork not being correct for the diamond when all numbers on both (stone and certificate) were identical; had paid for a brand new ring and didn't think we should have to settle for a new ring already repaired; and didn't want to have to go without the engagement ring for a few weeks.
When the store reps said this was the only way they could resolve the issue and the store would not create a new ring based on what we paid for and ship it to the store for an exchange (so the recipient could keep an engagement ring on her hand in the meantime), we returned it for a full refund, which we did receive.
The two ladies (Rossella, our main sales rep & Laura) who helped from start to finish were wonderful; they were graceful and accommodating and both truly deserve 5 stars. And for this, we are grateful.
Ultimately, we strongly advise all customers thoroughly examine their paperwork. If you can't read the number inscribed on the center stone, we suggest paying to have it appraised to make sure you received what you paid for, and do so before the return...

I am compelled to share my extremely disappointing experience with Grown Brilliance, where incompetence and poor customer service have marred what should have been a joyous occasion. In August 2023, my fiancé and I chose Grown Brilliance to purchase our wedding rings. Unfortunately, this decision has led to months of frustration and disappointment.
Shortly after receiving the rings, a diamond fell out. Believing in the integrity of Grown Brilliance, we reached out for a repair rather than contacting our insurance. The company agreed to fix the ring, but this was just the beginning of an ongoing ordeal. Upon receiving the repaired ring, more diamonds fell out not once but repeatedly with each subsequent repair. The quality assurance on these repairs was non-existent, and each resolution attempt only led to further issues, culminating in a ring that didn’t even fit—crafted in the wrong size!
Throughout this process, the customer service was appalling. It took multiple calls to even reach a supervisor, and when I finally did, the response was lackluster. Promises of callbacks went unfulfilled, and when pressed for answers, excuses were made without any real action being taken. I was astounded by the lack of accountability and the casual dismissal of my concerns.
This situation is utterly unacceptable. I am now left with a product that is unusable and a customer service experience that leaves much to be desired. All trust in Grown Brilliance has been eroded, and I am seeking a full refund for the rings that have brought nothing but stress and disappointment to an otherwise joyful occasion.
