A Nightmare Experience - Do Not Waste Your Money at Dental Smiles of Bolingbrook

I strongly advise against visiting Dental Smiles of Bolingbrook. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, filled with incompetence, negligence, and constant financial drain.

I initially had two dental crowns put and my tooth was cracked because the crowns were not the right size. A few months later, the doctors at Dental Smiles prescribed antibiotics, claiming I had an infection. Each visit cost me not only money but also my health. Eventually, I sought a second opinion at another clinic, where they informed me that my tooth was broken beyond repair and needed to be extracted. I paid out of pocket for this extraction.

Adding to the horror, the second crown installed by Dental Smiles fell out. Upon returning to the clinic, I saw a new doctor who confirmed that the previous crown was the wrong size and changed the position of the crown to the opposite side to fix it. This misplacement caused my gum to swell. After paying yet again for another visit, I was told that the crown was pressing on my tooth, bone, and affecting my bite, and that it needed to be replaced. They offered me a "discount," reducing the cost from $1500 to $900, as if this was a favor.

To make matters worse, the doctor who initially installed the crown no longer works there. However, I distinctly remember that two doctors were involved in the procedure, one of whom is the owner of the clinic but now works at Hyline Dental.

Dental Smiles of Bolingbrook has demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and care. Their repeated errors and the subsequent financial burden they placed on me are unacceptable. Do not waste your money and risk your health at this clinic. Seek dental...

I love this place and I’m so happy I found it! Not only do they make me feel comfortable, but they got my kids to feel comfortable. More importantly, more at ease with going to the dentist with a scare from a previous. They are patient, listen well, and give the best options they have available. They are friendly and cost affective. I couldn’t be more grateful, Ashley the hygienist: is amazing at what she does she is gentle, and very thorough with her work. She’s relatable and is easy to have a convo with. Dr.Argawal went above and beyond for us. She got us in for an emergency appt and got the dental plan started couldn’t be more happy with this place we found a forever dentist as long as they are open. Dr. Argawal was amazing for my daughter, she had very serious dental issues and had so much work done that failed from previous dentist but she fixed everything in a timely fashion and made my daughter feel happy again with her smile. The front staff is also inviting, friendly, and on top of scheduling. Always reminding of an appt.! 10/10, would...

I went here for a filling, first of all I was expecting to see another doctor with the same name who wasn't there, but that didn't bother me much since they accomodated my request for an earlier appointment. My entire experience was messy, there was water everywhere and I was quite uncomfortable especially because the assistant said to the doctor "Don't worry" (dont worry about what? Did you go wrong somewhere or are you trying to calm him down because he cant??🥺) and kept giving reassuring or surprising looks to the doctor. I am assuming he was relatively new at his job and needed some encouragent and I get that..but being the person on the chair at the time, I didnt want something to go wrong with me! I have been to many dentists in my entire life and this one was the most uncomfortable experience I've had. I think it was mainly because of the confusing looks.
