Perfectly breezy swimming hole on a hot summer. Keep in mind, it's cool ocean water (salty) and tidal. A great spot to launch a kayak, paddboard, swim, picnic, sunbathe or just lounge around with a book. There's a cool rock in the middle you can walk to during low tide or swim to in high tide. This is also a dog park (pretty much the only one in the local area), so if dogs are not your cup of tea, skip it (we love dogs and making new friends!). Read moreNice park with plenty of room. Parking lot across the street. Benches and tables for use, but no fire or grills allowed. Go for the afternoon with a picnic lunch or plan to spend the day. There is a restroom available with a little room to change for swimming. Head down to the swimming area. It changes with the tide. I would suggest watershies because it is a little rocky with pebbles. Large rock in the swim area to head to and climb. Tide pools when the tide goes down. Also a good spot to go fishing for mackerel and striped bass. Great views...
Read moreThis was a fun park there is only 2 little places where you can get to the Ocean but still we had an absolute blast!! We will be back as long as people use the dog Poop bags they have at the entrance to the park we always pick up other people's dog's poo but shouldn't have to if you have a dog PICK UP IT'S POOP when it poops please and thank you.
