Unfortunately, despite applying several times & eagerly hoping to be selected for a ceramics scholarship I was passed over again (for probably the 6th time.) It seems as though Harvard does NOT cater to low-income local parents who grew up in the area & would like to express themselves artistically & try something new. They select the cookie-cutter variety of transplants here for school. Very disappointing that an institution that literally uprooted an entire community of low-income locals offers nothing to them anymore.
