I was pleasantly surprised when we visited this weekend. I read a bunch of reviews prior to settling on this location in an attempt to beat the heatwave last weekend (anyone else sick of summer? nope? just me? 0_o)
Anyways, a bunch of reviews say there wasn't enough parking or that the parking lot was small/cramped.. but i completely disagree. I thought there was more than enough parking even during the peak hours between 11 and 1.
The wading pool was so nice, it was big enough for tons of kids and adults alike.. no one said anything about me floating around in my leggings which is awesome because i don't think i even own a bathing suit. Life guards were on duty which was added reassurance for me that my child was ok. there was also a really nice playground, and a regular splash pad with ample benches, trash barrels, and picnic tables throughout the area.
The icing on the cake is the public restroom/changing area and the outdoor showers to rinse off that chlorine after you're done.
no complaints...
