Artesani Playground Wading Pool and Spray Deck — Attraction in Boston

Today was the first time coming here. I brought my 5 year old son and 4.5 year old nephew. They absolutely loved it!! We got here around 11 and there was hardly any parking spots. We were able to find one in the furthest spot away, I was able to move my car closer at 1 and there were a lot of spots by then. The wading pool is perfect for their age, it's 2 feet deep so they didn't need their life jackets. They have sprinklers and buckets that dump out. There is also a splash area for younger children that they also had a lot of fun at. The park is really cool too, it's a pirate theme with lots of different climbing structures. There is plenty of life guards, a shower, bath house, water fountains for drinking, and an ice cream truck that has been here all day long. Best place to bring children on a hot summer day...

The perfect place does exist..The life guards are great and helpful. There’s plenty of parking and it’s all free. There’s multiple options of things to do as there is a large wading pool ,a separate spray park, and a large pirate themed playground.This is all on site overlooking the Charles River. There is a trail and bike path marked with plenty of benches, and even boat rentals. It’s also great for birdwatching and fishing too. It’s a great place to come by your self, with your kids, or have a large gathering. It can get crowded on weekends but everyone I’ve encountered is pretty nice and courteous and there’s plenty of space in the rest of the park to get away from the...

Normally this playground/wading pool is amazing. Today not so much. As said before in other reviews, you have to queue up to get into wade pool, totally fine, today however the lifeguard tested the pool ten minutes before it's set to open to find it's low pH. Apparently a supervisor has to adjust the pH. One was called out and an ETA was asked for but the supervisor did not give an ETA leaving everyone waiting in line with no expectations on when the pool would open. There is no shade in the line. It's a heat wave and I just can't believe they couldn't have had the pool tested an hour before it's set to open so that it would be ready to go!...
