Accidentally discovered this little train in the western suburbs of Boston

So they recently built a new upper busway overhead and a new overhead for the lower parking lot. Forest Hills Station is pretty busy since it has a flow of people from Hyde Park, Roslindale, West Roxbury, Dedham, Norwood, East Walpole, Mattapan, Dorchester, Milton, J.P. etc that need or usually catch the orange line IN & OUT of Downtown Boston to one of the numerous buses to get home from Forest Hills. My parents bought a house in Roslindale in 1971 & we have lived not far from this station ever since and it usually only take us 20 minutes to be in Downtown Boston via Forest Hills Station. Forest Hills station is GREAT & the bus drivers and supervisors who work there have always been AWESOME & PROFESSIONAL! My only complaint is the station GLASS ROOF can see some pretty nasty water dripping during the winter when the snow piles up. I was hoping they would replace the entire roof eventually but hopefully it comes one day. SAFE STATION even at night. So don't be afraid to pass on through! :)

The reason for this review is not bc of the actual orange line or Forrest hills itself but the transit police who did not do there job correctly of Friday 5/20/22 T this station, while I was getting off the # 36 bus from the VA hospital to Forrest hills I was jumped my a group of black teenage girls. About 6-9 girls against me, broad daylight between 4-5pm. Transit officer took my statement along with a few witnesses I believe and they caught the group of girls whom said they jumped me bc I had a knife which was never found, however, said girl had a scrape on her arm that matched her story. Transit police had the LT. Come down his last name was Gillespie. Now here's the catch : I'm an addict in recovery with a record, so when he ran my name which I willingly gave him as well as anything that was asked including what happened about 5 or 6 times and my story didn't change once. I have over 3 years clean. I changed my life around 150%. Some officers think that most addicts can't change for the better. So as soon as he ran my name he saw my record, I was detained, for about 30 minutes, then told I was being placed under arrest, read my rights( even though I had already given them several pieces of information. After my rights were read another 10 minutes went by and the LT. Came back from behind the door and told me to go home?!!!!!!! I said that I was going to wait for athe ambulance downstairs and was told to go straight home before he changed his mind. . I feel they handled it 100% incorrectly and they have jurisdiction I have no idea where to turn. I have tried so many things to get my voice heard bc...

Very busy place...a great place to go toward the city or commute home. Plenty of vendors for a light snack on your journey. However I dislike the amount of unruly teenagers I see hanging out and acting up. Creating an unsafe environment for everyone else. I saw group of teenagers from school really being unruly in front of a mbta officer and he just acted like he didn't see anything when I wanted to say something to the teens . Also the other I saw a man just calling people names just looking for a fight and he didn't look crazy more like a set up to me. Really not a safe place...
