Nestled amidst the charming streets of Jamaica Plain, MA, lies the Forest Hill Diner, a haven of warmth and nostalgia that beckons travelers and locals alike. Here, every sip of coffee is an invitation to journey back to simpler times, evoking memories of cozy mornings and hearty conversations. Served in classic Styrofoam cups with traditional pull-up lids, the coffee speaks of timeless quality and care.

But the experience extends beyond the steaming brew. Forest Hill Diner’s pancakes are a symphony of flavors, each bite a delicate balance of fluffy texture, creamy butter, and sweet syrup. With every indulgent mouthful, diners are transported to a realm of pancake perfection, where every bite is a celebration of culinary craftsmanship.

Yet, it is not merely the food that sets this diner apart. It is the intangible warmth that permeates its atmosphere, the genuine hospitality of its staff that makes every visitor feel like family. From the moment one steps through the door, they are enveloped in smiles and kindness, welcomed into a sanctuary of comfort and camaraderie.

In essence, Forest Hill Diner transcends its role as a mere eatery; it is a sanctuary where the harmonious blend of good food, great coffee, and genuine hospitality creates an unforgettable dining experience, leaving a lasting impression on all who pass...

We found this place after walking a mile in search of breakfast - it was perfect! Atmosphere was friendly and bustling. Plenty of room but plenty of people too - students, families with kids, employees from the Forest Hills T stop coming in on break, etc. Food was typical cafe fare but seriously delicious and exceeded expectations. Donuts were fluffy and moist, clearly fresh. Sandwich nicely put together with quality ingredients and pleasantly tangy sauce - my husband who hates condiments even acknowledged that he liked the aioli. They do iced green tea, which not all cafes do and many just have as an afterthought, but this was clearly green tea prepared by someone who knew what they were doing - full flavored and not bitter at all. We live an hour and a half away, but I have already decided I'm visiting this place again next time we...

#1 I have never been to the resturant but i do have the food delivered. I have made over 75 orders from here in the past few years and can say I only have had 2 orders that I was not happy with. 1 was they read the order wrong and instead of getting an omelette it was a sandwhich and the 2nd was horrible hash browns that were due to the pandemic as the normal potatoes were not available. Have mainly used them for breakfast but have ordered the burgers a few times which i also liked. All being said they are my goto for breakfast when open. unfortunatly they have been closed for a couple of weeks now. hope...

Came into this Boston/sports themed little diner a little on the late side, (1:30 when they close at 2:00) promised to eat quickly. What I received was my corned beef hash and eggs with crispy home fries and buttered rye toast cooked perfectly on a positively adorable red tray with all the ketchup, salt and pepper, and jelly I would need. I could hardly finish it, and it only cost me $11.50 after taxes. Whether you're taking the Forest Hills T into Boston or gearing up to take the southwest corridor into Back Bay, Forest Hills Diner is a great place to fuel up on good food served fast!

This spot is a cherished favorite. Whenever I have the time it's a top choice for breakfast. Service is unparalleled. Very clean and welcoming environment. Its Saturday morning so theres about a 20 minute wait. Reasonable. I started off with a giant grilled blueberry muffin and medium coffee. Deliciousness. Ordered one egg full breakfast which included toast and hashbrowns with choice of meat. Expertly prepared to order. All I've got to say this is a solid choice with all the basic amenities available. I hope y'all never change.
