I have been bringing my daughter here for Thursdays on the Lawn from June to September for the last few years. We absolutely love it, it is such a wholesome community gathering and makes me love living in Boston. The food trucks that come are so good, the experience is inhanced when there is a band playing (I wish they would have one every week like they used to) and kids are running around barefoot in the garden while families sit on picnic blankets and chat with their neighbors and other folks from the community. There are often farmers markets set up as well, mobile library stands, and local organizations with tables set up where you can get information about local events. As far as the actual house goes, wr have never been inside, but this particular event they hold on its grounds is definitely worth checking out-- whether you just want to grab a meal from the food trucks, or if you have little kids that need to run around and go crazy outside during the warm...

The staff was very supportive and accommodating and directed us to excellent supportive services - floral and tent providers. With access to the house itself for the day - all had space to get ready, share time with friends and family as well as the lovely grounds! Parking on site was a definate plus.
