The two businesses, the donut shop in the little kiosk guy who sells peanuts. I politely asked them if they could break a $20 bill for me, they both replied if you buy something I can break the bill!!!!! It wasn't even a polite way to ask to persuade me in sales. It was literally, not friendly. But I blame the MBTA, for not having a machine that will give you bills back because I do not want coins. A simple question for a simple answer. This was about 12:00 noon on Monday afternoon. Even the MBTA employees and I'm not talking about the guys in the red shirts, there were none of those employees there. These employees were either train operators and a white shirt which is probably inspector. Not only do they not have a solution, they did not even know the answer. Do do the machines give you bills back if you put in a big Bill? That was my question. And they really did not know the answer and could not answer. Leaving me confused and hopeless to take the transportation to where I needed to go. Which I was going to a job interview. All I have to say is where is the customer service the MBTA used to have? I get this a lot going on in the world but at the same time people should not forget the courtesy of their job. And remember the empathy in the customer service.
