I had seen the park sign and the patch of green on my GPS, so I decided to go for a walk and check it out. This park surprised me in a few ways. Foremost, it is unassuming from the view from the road, but has ample parking. It has a small former school house and clubhouse that used to sit elsewhere before moving to its current location. You can volunteer your time and skills to help maintain it. The grounds have a clean bathroom and water fountains in good working condition. There is a deck out back of the school house, which is the only space I find ADA friendly. Past those spaces, there is a large rolling meadow off shoots of trails. It's also has its share of blackberry bushes. The only downside I thought of the space is that it seems like it could be so much more. There is very limited seating, and the grass is dry and univiting. I imagine the space as a little oasis as you can't hear the street noise, and it has ample shade and sunny spots. šŸ˜Ž All my pics inside the park were on little trails...

I love this little park because I like walking my dog here. There is plenty of open space for frisbee and picnics, and small walking trails. The one big downside is a lot of people don't pick up after their pets. It's frustrating being a responsible pet owner and seeing so little responsibility at this quaint little park. There are overflowing bag containers provided at the park.

Other than this, and like I said before, I do love this little park. There are trails leading into the woods and trails that walk around the grassy open area. It's a good place for...

We’ve driven by this park so many times, always saying, ā€œWe need to check it out one day.ā€ Well, today on our way home from lunch, we finally did! I saw a few people running and someone relaxing on a bench. We took the pup for a walk but didn’t explore the whole park, so I’m curious how far back it goes. There were some signs warning about bears, which definitely freaked me out a bit, lol. If it’s rained recently, I imagine it would get really muddy. The trail looked more like a small bike trail. Overall, it’s a nice spot to walk the dog, and it’s so...

This park is not bad, but there’s really not much to do here. There’s one shelter you can rent and there’s one tiny area with two climbing rocks. The rest is just trails that you can go on. They have an antique house here that sounds like could have been used for events, but nothing ever came of it. I feel like it’s kind of a waste. There is one little wooden walkway that had a bunch of garbage on it and graffiti scratched into the rails when I went there the other day.
