Would easily buy another mattress from this location as a first option.

I had moved to the Greater Seattle area from the East Coast on July 4th. The mattress that we had been looking at was on sale, and I called two other Mattress Firm locations before this one.

On my third call (now Bothell location), Carmen answered the phone very promptly. I gave her the item number of the on-sale mattress I was looking for. The database showed that another location had the mattress, but she did her due diligence and said, "Let me call you back to make sure that they actually have the item, because sometimes, the inventory isn't always correct." That's when I knew how thorough she is. (I used to work in a retail setting, so I know how important it is to actually check to see if an item is physically present - and not just go with what the computer says - before a client gets frustrated/upset.) She could've easily told me to call that location myself, but she took the initiative and called. After several minutes, she called me back saying that they did not have it in stock, but during that time, she found another mattress also on sale. She asked how soon I needed the mattress. I told her "Next day, if possible. I just moved from the East Coast yesterday." Carmen: "Yes, then you'll definitely need one right away!" She even told me a bit about herself and welcomed me to Washington, so she was very personable.

The available mattress, although a bit more expensive, was still on sale at half off, and it was within our budget (and looked to be even better than the one we had previously been looking at). She even told us that she could have a free next-day delivery. So I told her that I was interested, and she sent me an email with the PDF invoice and link directly to the purchase page on the website (so that I could complete the payment). However, I saw on the website that they also had a $50-off coupon that could be applied if a minimum purchase was made. I emailed her back asking if she could apply it since it was indeed over the minimum needed for the coupon. Sure enough, she applied the coupon and sent me an updated PDF invoice.

The next day, the mattress was delivered early afternoon, during the earlier part of the estimated delivery window. The delivery drivers even carried up the mattress (king-size) box a few flights of stairs to where our apartment is located. We were not expecting them to do that, because that's not usually included in the free delivery. Decided to give them a tip and write this Google review just to say how professionally everything...

We ended up returning the adjustable bed frame we purchased because it didn’t work well with the bed frame we had. The moving company that retrieved the adjustable frame damage our new bedframe. It has been well over a month since the damage was reported and no progress has been made to have the damages repaired. We have called countless times and every time we are told someone will reach out the next week. Even after calling mattress firms online number. I was told again that someone would contact us within 2 business days and am currently (7 days later) waiting for that phone call.

In addition to the repair issue upon initial delivery the movers were slamming boxes and handling the product very aggressively. Our neighbors actually came outside because they thought something was wrong. We made a complaint about the movers and was ensured it would never happen again. The same 2 movers were the ones sent to retrieve the return product a week later.

We chose this store because of the five-star reviews, and it did not disappoint. Had a great experience with Jim! We were able to find the perfect mattress with his help and expertise. He was so personable, attentive, and informative! The store’s focus on building rapport with customers definitely works, and it shows! I am very appalled with this mattress firm location. My father was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I recommended he went to a mattress store to get an adjustable base and mattress so he will be comfortable before he starts cancer treatment. He got a bed and base from there for a reasonable price. He has great credit and places the order in store. Took over 3 days to recieve. Then my father got accepted into john Hopkins in Baltimore. So he relocated to Maryland that week. Called mattress firm to pick up the bed and he was just gonna get another one from the local store here in oxford, pa. Oxford said that he had to do an exchange. So the bed in Washington had to be returned first so he can get the credit on his credit card. As of today it’s been 2 weeks. My fathers bed still hasn’t been picked up by mattress firm. The oxford store won’t deliver the bed until the old one is picked up. So my father is sleeping on a 6 year olds bed with stage 4 cancer. He has no bed or adjustable base.
