Myself, my wife, and my kids were on a quest for pizza today. We were going to go to the wood fired pizza place down the road but instead decided to stop here. I’ll start from the beginning: the place is really dirty and in disarray. There’s signs out front that are haphazardly written on and the inside is a disaster. There’s some tablet right by the front that was really dirty and maybe served a purpose at some time but doesn’t now. There was also some hand written paper sign off to the side that they didn’t take some sort of coupon. The front ordering area is strange. It’s small and there’s a chalk board above that is completely blank. To order you have the bend over a bit and order through this window where you can see a lot of stuff in the back that doesn’t look well kept. The restaurant itself is a disaster. There were several dirty tables and not a single other person in there. I felt bad for the dude at the front because he seemed to be trying his hardest under these terrible conditions. Please for the love of god fix the drink machine. He had to go in the back to get us ice and I got a coke, it was nasty so I dumped it out and got a root beer and my ice had mostly melted because it was warm and then when I went to drink it, there was something in it. It was really gross so I put my cup away. The drink machine has definitely not been cleaned in a long long time. The garlic cheese bread was surprisingly good. Now the pizza. The pizza was very greasy and super thin and left a strange after taste in my mouth. Reading a lot of other reviews, I don’t doubt the pizza is good. Maybe I got a bad batch, I’m not sure. I’m no restaurant owner but I’m a Bothell consumer and unless there’s some major changes to this store, I will not come back. I think the rest of the city agrees because when every restaurant around you is packed with people and you’re empty, it’s probably not...
Read moreI had an unpleasant visit to this restaurant recently, and it’s unfortunate that such a small issue overshadowed what should have been a simple dessert stop.
My friends and I had just ordered $110 worth of food the night before (which was decent), but since they don’t deliver falooda on Uber eats, we decided to visit just for dessert. We only ordered falooda, but what followed was truly embarrassing.
While enjoying our dessert, the owner loudly scolded their staff near our table, complaining that I took "3 plastic spoons instead of 2." Keep in mind, these spoons are cheap disposable ones, and we were just in the mood for something sweet—not trying to hoard cutlery. The way the situation was handled was unprofessional and awkward, especially since other customers could hear.
It’s baffling that after spending a good amount the previous night, the owner would make such a fuss over a single extra plastic spoon—something that costs pennies. If cost-cutting is this extreme, maybe they should reconsider their policies or at least address such matters discreetly.
The falooda itself was fine, but the poor customer service left a sour taste. I expect better hospitality from a restaurant, especially when patrons are just trying to enjoy a simple dessert.
Would not return just for dessert—better options elsewhere without the unnecessary drama...
Read moreI absolutely love their pasta and food. The restaurant is warm, welcoming and offers take out service as well. Suzi whom works at night is wonderful, greets you with a big smile and treats you like family. Paula during the daytime is very very nice as well. Both ladies are very patient and accommodating as I tend to be a little bit slow. It was my birthday, my first one spent without both of my parents i lost them both last year and wanted to treat myself to their pasta dinners. Suzi without any prompting heard it was my birthday and after i got my order, Suzi pulled out a slice of cake desert WITH a lit candle on it SANG Happy Birthday to me and Karen the manager came over and gave me a hug as well. The restaurant feels very cozy and the staff couldnt be nicer. It is not swarmed with noise and traffic. It's nice to goto with someone like a date and it IS clean too; no problems. The staff, Karen the manager and with Suzi and Paula, these great ladies make dinning their a really enjoyable experience, they couldnt be nicer. I am so glad I discovered them and they are located by Fred Meyer market, so quite often I place an order to go and then go shopping while the food is being made and then pick it up after I'm done at Fred Meyer, very...
