*My dog Sam and I started the trail in McCollum Park in the North* And we loved every minute of it. Beautiful nature walk / hike and there were apartment buildings within site for most of the first 4-ish miles. That might not sound too appealing to true nature lovers, but they were not low income sleaze motels, they were clean, well kept and aesthetic. We were hiking on a Sunday and it seemed like everyone was doing laundry so we could smell their drier exhaust and the smell of clean laundry and fabric softener wafted pleasantly. We walked to the "sidewalk trail connecting" or I forgot what it was called, them walked back to the parking lot. Next time we'll bring the bike and go at more of a trot. I would highly recommend this trail to anyone who wants a leisurely stroll, brisk walk or run. Very nice and well maintained. If you decide to eat at any of the picnic tables, be aware that the squirrels are pretty hardcore and don't scare easily. They came within 2 feet of me and my well behaved Jack Russell Terrier.

Great trail for exploring and seeing wildlife. We love meandering along this path and taking in all the sights of ducks and ducklings, many dogs being walked, and various birds looking for food. The creek's fluctuating water levels allow for varying levels of discovery along the water line throughout the seasons. This is a fun trail that's good for children and very accessible from the office park lots along North Creek Parkway. Watch out for all the wild animal droppings along the path!

Keep volume respectful to the natural wildlife and inhabitants of the area, hard working is done nearby which requires concentration from both animal wildlife and humans alike! (Those are some important jobs nearby!) out for some plants but overall beyond beautiful!!!!! Never litter and let the locals manage the berries and plants, some Nightshade here which can be toxic to some animals, check out the plant finding apps on various app markets for fun for yourself or your kiddos.

It's your neighborhood nature getaway if you have kids on strollers, wheels or simply your kiddos are too cool to walk with you for a long time. It is a short, flat easy trail. With a getaway to a running stream of water that mesmerizes your eyes and sings in your ears. Unfortunately it's too close to the busy city noise pollution so don't expect the full "nature" experience. Cannot meditate or get your mind together if you need P&Q.... Oh and pack some bread for dukes .I know you are not supposed to feed the wild life but they EXPECT it.. will fly towards you as soon as you get close to the pond and then you will feel embarrassed if you are empty...
