My dog Sam and I started the trail in McCollum Park in the North And we loved every minute of it. Beautiful nature walk / hike and there were apartment buildings within site for most of the first 4-ish miles. That might not sound too appealing to true nature lovers, but they were not low income sleaze motels, they were clean, well kept and aesthetic. With a getaway to a running stream of water that mesmerizes your eyes and sings in your ears. Unfortunately it's too close to the busy city noise pollution so don't expect the full "nature" experience. Cannot meditate or get your mind together if you need P&Q.... Read moreGreat trail for exploring and seeing wildlife. We love meandering along this path and taking in all the sights of ducks and ducklings, many dogs being walked, and various birds looking for food. The creek's fluctuating water levels allow for varying levels of discovery along the water line throughout the seasons. This is a fun trail that's good for children and very accessible from the office park lots along North Creek Parkway. Watch out for all the wild animal droppings...
