Although I cannot attest to the quality of the rest of the menu, I was very dissatisfied with the quality of the Drunken Noodles I’d ordered to-go. The first thing I noticed was the unusual smell, which kind of reminded me of garbage to be honest. But I figured maybe that’s just how drunken noodles smell, and that it might taste better. From the first bite I noticed that the noodles seemed more like a glob of soggy lasagna than actual noodles, giving me the impression that they were prepped in advance rather than being cooked to order, but if that was the case I don’t know why they told me it would take 30 minutes to prepare. On my fourth bite I finally tasted that which I’d been smelling and immediately spit it out, then threw the rest of the dish in the trash. I’m not entirely sure where that taste/smell came from - the vegetables and mushrooms seemed pretty standard fare, the tofu was tasty, and the dish wasn’t exactly drowning in the chili sauce, so my best guess is that it came from the mushy noodles, particularly as that was what was primarily in my mouth for that fateful bite.

Big snowstorm prevented me from venturing far, was going to check out a highly rated Mexican restaurant, but unfortunately they were closed- fortunately Rama House was right next door! I have limited experience with Thai food so take my words with a grain of salt, but in my experience peanut oil is king in this cuisine. Rama House offered some excellent honest dishes- I had the drunken noodles and vegetable delight- both arrived piping hot and veggies were fresh and delicious! If peanut oil was present, it did not overpower these dishes. Because there are many businesses nearby I imagine a lot of their work is takeout, but I would encourage you to dine in- server was very helpful (explained that their spice levels are tailored to a typical Washingtonian tongue rather than a Thai tongue- I found level “3” to be pleasantly spicy without burning the lips!) Decor is nice with comfortable seating. Thank you for having me!

I tried this place a couple days ago for the first time and I’m so glad I did! I ordered beef pad see ew and the orange chicken. They were both really good but what surprised me was the Orange Chicken , it was phenomenal. It’s really hard for me to find a good decently priced orange chicken. This one was amazing , not too much dough and it was perfectly crispy. And the steamed veggies it came with were rlly good too, The taste was great for each dish , highly recommend trying this place! Especially if your as picky as I am about your Thai food or orange chicken Edit: I continue to come here when I can and I even got the chicken pad Thai to try a couple weeks ago which is also pretty good. My family loves the orange chicken here as well. My favorite thing about this restaurant us how they make the pad see ew, they also slice the broccoli very nicely which makes it so much tastier!

The appetisers are overpriced and the quality and quantity of the food is not all there after the change in managers. We ordered the deep fried calamari recently and only found 4-5 small pieces of calamari and the rest were vegetables and deep fried crumbs. Seems absurd that a restaurant charge $9.00 for an appetiser consisting mostly of vegetables! Complaining to the manager of the restaurant didn't help either because he simply did not care and replied with a "we'll do better next time". Since the change in ownership, I have noticed the quantity of the food has decreased as well as their quality in service. I almost always order my regular drunken noodles with prawns every time I visit (or any of their noodle dishes with prawns). I went from receiving 8 pieces of prawns before the change in ownership to 5-6 pieces of prawns after the changeover. Furthermore, the soup size for a small is not worth the price paid, at least in the container they store the soup in for takeout. I visit less frequently after the ownership change, but still order food from the restaurant every now and then. I made a couple complaints in the past because they messed up my orders. All they do is smile and appear apologetic but they quickly remain tight-lipped after that. Before the change in ownership, the manager would apologise if my order was not executed correctly and he would offer a discount or something similar of that nature. I felt like I was well taken care of and that my problem mattered. Furthermore, I used to receive regular coupons in the mail, but I've not seen a single one since the changeover. Nevertheless, I still visit even if there are no longer coupons delivered. However, I will not be returning to this place again after last night's dinner. I do not appreciate restaurant owners that fail to address a problem and offer less for the level of service and quality I used to receive. Restaurants that they don't take care for their customers are simply not worthy of my money. I'll order food from different Thai restaurants in the future and there are more than plenty of them...

Very disappointing experience. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao, an order of pot sitckers and some chicken fried rice at around 5:40pm.

Late - My Uber eats driver went to bat for me to try and get the food as soon as he could (Thanks David), but the food still didn't arrive until nearly 7:20pm. The original estimate for delivery was 6:45 pm. Not end of the world right? These things do happen...

Pad Kee Mao - Cold. Noodles were all clumped together, there weren't many veggies, there was EVEN LESS chicken, and the overall portion size was disappointing. oh, and I ordered level 4/5 spiciness... It was NOT spicy and it looked as if the only spices that were added were a handful of red pepper flakes scattered over the top.

Pot Stickers - Cold, burnt, and soggy... somehow all at the same time.

I didn't check the fried rice because it was not for me but I really hope it was the best fried rice my roomate has ever eaten.

I do not recommend this eatery and I will not be ordering from them again (Though I may stop by and try their dining room...
