This park is a great resource. Out of curiosity I read many of the negative reviews which are surprisingly inaccurate. There are many aspects to this park which the negative Nancies & Nathanyoz seem to miss or blame the park instead of people. There is a huge grassy field which is used by all kinds of folks (soccer, r/c, paragliding, dog running, kiting, etc). There are trees along the side. Gazebos, picnic areas, bathrooms, water fountains, hiking trails, etc!) And a huge dog park. The dog 💩 problem is an epidemic everywhere because there are loads of lazy ass humans everywhere on this Earth. The negative reviews are laughable. This park is a great resource for the community. AND if you want to learn how to FLY, you can learn with one of the many great paragliding schools that offer lessons and use the park as a landing zone. Six stars....

This is by far my favorite park. Lots of parking, and there are many tables under shade. It has water fountains, as well as large bathrooms. Plenty of space and trails to walk. There's so much space that you can enjoy watching paragliders land near by. The sidewalks are large, so even the need of a wheelchair won't stop you from enjoying this park. The playground equipment is unique and all around, making it fun for kids to run to each activity. The swings are my favorite part of the playground, there's even an adaptive swing so everyone can enjoy the beauty of this park. Fun for every age, as the traditional swings are unlike any other swing. There's a spring on top, and you are faced with the best views regardless of which direction you sit....

Normally loves this park but had a terrible experience yesterday. We had our dog with our son and wanted to take our son to swing before we went over to the dog park. We kept our dog on a leash and there were multiple dogs running around off leash in the children’s area. The owners all were right there and exclaimed that they’re dogs were friendly but they were making my dog feel very scared and insecure since he was on leash. The dog park was walking distance so I don’t understand why, if they wanted their dogs to roam, why they weren’t going to the designated area for it. It forced us to cut the park early and leave because they didn’t care and thought they were doing nothing wrong....

An amazing park for children of all ages. From parkour classes, soccer clinics, joggers, para gliders coming in from the mountains, families bringing their kids to play there seems to be something for everyone! I usually do an early morning training session while I'm there. Playing on the rails doing calisthenics before the masses arrive. Even during the midday heat of the sun you can find a shady sanctuary under one of their many pavilions. There is a dog park just northwest of the actually playground. Let the dog loose, let the kids loose, cut loose, cut a rug. A super fun place for the whole family!

The most complete park in Boulder, restroom, drinking water, playground, sports field, etc.there are flat easy trails also well as the more ascend hiking trails. Most important, it is extremely beautiful, you can see the blades side of the flatiron, there is magic wonderland lake, all kinds of waterfowls, and there are plenty of parking spots, almost no traffic to get there, I admire a lot the people lived apun there. As for me, I definitely will come back.
