I’m writing a good review because of the actual gym itself and most of the staff as most places. I have a complaint about apartheid trinitarians who would act very aggressive or passive in situations I would correct or allow correction. I believe a particular woman was used who said she was a Christian persued me to get me removed based on my consistent character of being a Christian to everyone who says they are a christian. I clearly accepted and loved this person anyway, but the complaint is the very inconspicuous abuse that seems to only happen when someone is critical of scriptures. I believe every Christian should face their accuser and deal with things and some of the trinitarians seem to believe they have apartheid authority over everything. It is not my first experience being an activist and being black balled, black mailed, black listed being human. Bozeman has been very understanding and so have businesses about my faith and so my complaint is against trinitarians and their stance in businesses and occupying while demanding such authority upsetting even myself who needs communication. I find that my complaint is to shed light on trinitarians or others being overly beneficial of society that belongs to everyone. The forbiddance and abusive nature of some people who use sex or life as a way to express themselves as totalitarian or accusing those who simply tell the truth is far out of line. Some threaten poverty and other things to say they only hunt down a single person. I believe in a female God and all Christian’s therefore are better than married, but trinitarians might teach both to have both worlds, why I’m concerned about the inconspicuous nature of their actions being apartheid adultery using all establishments for their selfish endeavors to even cover up abuse. Apartheid is a tricky issue because it involves personal authority given to others, therefore training and constant work to be at peace is not easy. I will say that the very basic Christian as myself does not submit to church or the Bible, we are allowed to be together reasonable. To a non Christian we can be viewed as the women giving birth and men being as from them but all spiritually, so imaginative if a person could bare that, but the trinitarians have practices that find that offensive unless they believe what I do and practice all the time, not taking anything that belongs to someone else. The point is we are apposed by those usurping authority with the governments to have the issue of only one faith apposed from what I call evil limited liability churches, because they suppress the knowledge prior to the Babylonian Roman emperical Bible and neuter the mother of creation. I believe that I’m in my bounderies here and being offended on my part is based on a continual disrespect and avoidance of these kinds of apartheid Christian’s who use law and human authority inappropriately. I’m actually supposed to scathe them based on scripture before everyone, that is law for us, wether an adultery Christian or a simple Christian or an inquiring Christian, we have law that is used to settle matters. With all due respect. Churches can be sued because it is not a brother or sister, and I find the amount of scandal and defamation that is better said through time is inappropriate for co hiers of Christianity. I don’t mind the term church as long as it has nothing to do with Yeshua or the original ekklesia. Church is adultery for some people and the confusion they bring based on their particular doctrine is enforced by seeming providence, that they say to the governments they only practice their faith, but so am I, saying I investigated church, bibles, and trinitarians and found...
Read moreWe are currently members here. The staff is extremely friendly. They have everything you could desire if you just want your basic fitness needs met!
As far as the patrons go, this isn't a hardcore classic gym. It is basically an LA Fitness with a better weight room. The crowd is definitely one of those "I just want to be lean and toned" kind of crowds.
The weight room has come a long way since the early 2000's. I think the owner and management are gradually modernizing the weight area. They are definitely headed in the right direction but they are not there yet.
If you are into power lifting or strongman you will have some needs met but it won't be ideal. They do not allow chalk. The bumper plate selection is limited (only two sets of 45's). They have one great squat rack and two average ones. The two shock absorbing platforms are wonderful for deadlift...but there are only two. Worst feature of their weight room is the hex plates. These plates do not stack well on the bar. They can spin and slightly move the bar away from you when you deadlift. The risk can be mitigated if you slow down your lift and reset every rep. In addition you can mix bumpers with 35lb hex plates that do not touch the ground, but it is still not ideal. Slight movement is still inevitable. They have some round 100lb plates on the leg press but they are very wide and take up a lot of space on the bar. There is no strongman equipment here. Sled and prowlers might be located away from the weight room but they are reserved for the crossfiteers. Don't even ask about logs or atlas stones they will look at you like an alien. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had a glute/ham machine. I was saddened when I realized most the patrons use the glute/ham for ab exercises but at least they have one!
If you are a bodybuilder they have plenty of free motion machines and free weights. However in that area, the dumbbells don't go beyond 120lbs. Also the hoist machines are not great at all. The hoist equipment has an odd weight chart that coincides with very random weight conversions in lbs. The hoist leg press has an extra large platform and is at an extra exaggerated angle. If you are used to heel only pressing it won't work well on this. Your range of motion will be limited. They have an alternative leg press that is completely flat but it isn't the best.
If you are a crossfiteer, I am not a good source. That area is exclusively reserved for "the tribe." So you will want to talk to a "tribe member." They have ropes up stairs.
If you are an endurance athlete the cardio equipment is great. They have a vast selection. There are multiple treadmills, stair steppers, row machines, bikes, they even have an arm bike! It is apparent that they have invested heavily in that area of the gym. If you prefer a traditional track hang tight! They are building one. The pool is shorter than standard short course length. I estimate it is 19.5 yards in length or shorter? All I know is it is not the standard 25 yards in length.
Overall, I still think this is one of the better gyms in Bozeman. Like I mentioned earlier, they have come a long way. Locally I have not found another gym that can compete with them on every level. Nationally they are still behind a lot of places you can find in most...
Read moreI would give this gym zero stars if I could. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. When my boyfriend and I signed up we weren’t given a tour nor were we introduced to any of the daycare staff that would be watching our son while using this facility. We were told before signing that we could cancel if we paid a fee to do so. When we went to cancel we were refused service. After explaining that we don’t wanna be apart of a gym that didn’t treat us as every other member and didn’t care to make us feel comfortable bringing our child there to use the facility, she still refused to help us and told us there was no way to cancel. We spoke to the manger who said he would look into this situation, but refused to answer any of my multiple follow up calls nor did he once try to contact us. They have still continuously been billing us but refusing to call and amend this situation. All they did from the beginning was take our money and rushed us out the door. Absolutely terrible facility and wish I would’ve read the reviews before thinking to bring my family here. Bring your families elsewhere, not worth a second of your time! The lack of communication and respect from this establishment is sad. Every single person I’ve talked to(a total of 5 people) that’s paid for this membership before all left and went to fuel...
