I had been going here for years to not only sell, but buy. I had always dealt with one of the owners. I felt he was fair and trustworthy that was until I made the mistake of allowing him to buy 8 cuff links from the number one Rolex dealers in the world. You all know them, dark green velvet, security everywhere, gold emblem name. He chose to have me $800 for EIGHT 1.25 carat Rubies with diamond halos, and mother of pearl cuff links. When I showed back up after he sent them off for testing, he purposely kept me looking at the estate jewelry considering he was selling a set for $7k a piece. Given that I’m now disabled due to uncontrollable seizures after coding BLUE from Delta, given up my career for a billionaire, medical degree student, he promised, he’d make sure he did me right. It wasn’t until 3 months later, I went in knowing and learning from another client, that knew those cuffs, he saw the price tag. Oh, this owner did everything to keep me from the remaining 6 links in estate section. What I was told was that the rubies were real, filled, but still real, after the testing was that the diamonds were VVS and that metal was platinum. He had the audacity to say to me, he didn’t make that much money to give me anymore than what he paid. Remember, 8 cuff links, $7k for 2. Do the math. He gave me $800. He made $28,000. But it wasn’t enough to help me. He knew I caught him, confronted him and he thought he was so clever when I already knew because a pair was bought. Never trust this buyer. The owner. It’s about money. They don’t care. I come from a well to do family and well educated and I trusted a jester. Don’t make the same mistake. Make it make sense. Ask him to show the receipts, I’ll wait. He is very patient and so talented with helping you find or even making the perfect piece to add to your collection. You will not be disappointed! They have helped me make a one of a kind beautiful piece of art in my custom ring! If they don’t have exactly what you want they can make it for you. I have enjoyed working with all the staff including Darren:) So friendly, knowledgeable and helpful sharing advice to help you find what your looking for. You need to come down and talk with them and let them show you what they have to offer! So much better then the big commercial jeweler chains! :) You do not get the attention and craftsmanship that you will receive here! Do yourself a favor and try them out. My husband bought my engagement ring from Jess over 25 years ago. Since then I’ve been spoiled with earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches and a 10 year diamond anniversary band (did you know you can make a wish list at Jess?!)
