We stopped in Bradford because I needed a pair of black pants, which we found at Man's World (another review here). They were one inch too long and we needed to hem the cuffs but had no needle/thread. We had parked in front of the Fabric Garden. about 75 numbers off the pants store, and walking back to the car we noticed it and went in to get the sewing stuff. The lady at the store, likely the proprietor, gave us some thread and a needle, and we had a nice conversation about where we were from (about 35 miles north) and where we were going, and how our granddaughter liked sewing. This kind of small business makes such a contrast to JoAnn Fabric or Walmart. In spite of living so near Bradford we have never done more than drive through on the 4lane or take a patient to the hospital with our ambulance.
