I do a “test sale” where I go into local card stores and try to sell pokemon cards! I imitated the sale by asking how much they purchase cards for. I was told by the cashier that they typically buy at 50% which honestly, not great but I suppose I understand. I went in with the price point of $300 for my lowest as I had a lot of 15 cards with the most expensive being $205 at 100% market rate. I was then offered $80 for my $205 card and $45 for 10 others….I lay no claim to the most intelligent pokemon collector but I do believe that’s actually under 40%. She also looked up all the cards in my face and their value, then went to the back of the store for some unknown reason with my cards which was honestly just weird by itself. Overall, I’m sure it’s a good place to play table games but if you’re in the business of honesty…I’d find another...
