iSmash Tampa — Attraction in Brandon

This place wasn't big enough for my group of 8 even though they said the room what "giant" and had enough space for 15 people. What actually happened was we had 2 time slots, one at 5:00pm and another at 5:30pm and I was talked into agreeing with the "one room large enough for everyone" and i also made sure to say that it's fine just as long as there will be plenty of stuff to smash, well, we were shorted. Bad business.

In the original time slots we would have gotten two windshields and enough room to do what we wanted, 4 people per room is absolutely enough, no, i dont care what management 'thinks'

They were able to save an entire time slot while shorting us a windshield that was actually paid for by my group.

would i recomment this place? Hell no. Even their reviews are purchased for a free chance at another windshield to break.

Edit: Be aware that the staff wears respirators while cleaning the room, but when you are in there, you get no respirator and all the leaking agents like Freon and leaking batteries, you get to inhale all that goodness and they couldn't care less.

make me believe otherwise, this place is a joke.

Incredibly polite and helpful staff! Everything felt clean and our smashing experience went smoothly. There were tons of breakable items and smashing a windshield was more fun than I thought it would be. The provided protective gear seemed clean and effective. The provided tools worked great. I got a bit warm while smashing but the AC was definitely blasting and there was a fan in the room which helped. It turns out that this type of experience isn't for me personally, however this was probably the best possible way to discover that and I would definitely come back for axe throwing or some other activity as this place has both a friendly and professional vibe to it. I know plenty of people who would enjoy repeat visits and I'm glad I got to experience just absolutely wrecking some stuff. I feel compelled to mention that I was coughing a little and had a sore throat by the time I was done though I can't be sure that it's due to the glass dust or anything like that. If I did go again I would personally wear a mask...

This was a great time. The staff was super friendly and professional. Your choice of packages are very affordable and plenty of stuff to smash/throw. You had your choice of 4 weapons and there are plenty of add-ons such as TVs and windshields. (I would highly recommend the windshield.). We weren’t sure if the 20 minor 35 min package would be the best. We opted for the 35 min smash time and it was perfect. 20 min was definitely going to be too quick. You need close toed shoes and they will provide the coveralls at no additional charge. Everything shatters much more than you expect so definitely wear all the safety gear. There is also axe throwing and beverages to purchase but no alcohol. Truly enjoyable and would be a great option for a rainy day, rough day or week at work, to get out some emotions, breakup/divorce recovery and maybe even a little...
