I have attempted to give this place three different opportunities. The first time was in October 2024, I got a full set on my first appointment. My lashes literally fell out less than a week. I emailed them right away because they sent me a survey asking how was my experience. When I tried to make an appointment to correct their mistake they told me they were going to charge me, I requested to then speak to a manager to escalate the issue. A week later, I returned, and I got Alexia which seemed much more knowledgeable, kind and corrected my lashes. I walked out then what I thought was gonna be a happy customer. My third time going was the week of March 2026 for a full-In, I saw Alexia again, very professional in and out within Iām going to say a hour and 20 minutes. Now itās about three weeks later, March 27 and I make a 8pm for another Fill-In with Alexia and as Iām pulling up into the parking lot roughly about 7:53pm I get a call saying hey we have to cancel your appointment because the glue is not sticking!!! I then proceed and say so you are telling me thereās no other glue in the studio to use? The receptionist says no Iām so sorry. I proceeded to say so youāre telling me after I have drive 30 minutes from my house, youāre going to call me five minutes before my appointment to cancel? The receptionist replies with Alexia has been so busy that sheās just telling us. Now Iām really starting to feel like she is lying to me because if the glue is not sticking, how can Alexia been busy or not tell you earlier. She just kept repeating herself. Iām so sorry the glue is not sticking. I was livid. We both said sea on the phone with awkward dead air, I finally hung up in her face, and it took everything in me from going inside of there, giving them a piece of my mind in person.
Update: Megan the manager call me and email me the very next day to resolve the issue. Megan was very apologetic and very accommodating and even went to explanation on the feedback she gave her receptionist and provided me a better explanation of what occurred that day. I do want to say the tech was very sweet, easy to talk to and overall a lovely girl. That being said I expect to leave hairless and without leftover wax still on me. After arriving home I realized large swaths of hair were missed being removed on both legs as well as my Brazilian. I certainly donāt expect perfection, a hair here and there is completely acceptable but missing large patches is not. I also am not fond of using the restroom after a wax and having left over wax transfer to my toilet seat then having to use oil to remove more off my legs.
I did get this at a discounted rate as a first time customer however, I would expect the same service regardless as thatās your time to ensure the customer keeps coming back. I would have been extremely upset if this happened and I had of paid full price for the service (144$).
I am super disappointed with my experience here and will have to continue my search.
EDIT: To clarify yes I did have to stand for part of my wax due to medical reasons however I was laying down for my Brazilian as normal, in the butterfly position, and it still wasnāt done properly and large portions of hair were missed. I also was in a normal recumbent position for the butt strip portion as well. The only portion I requested to stand for was the backs of my thighs to be finished. I do realize this is not normal practice for the backs of the legs as I would usually lay facedown however me standing for that portion would not effect my full Brazilian wax nor the front of my legs and bum having left over wax residue on them. UPDATE: 05/28/2021 Since under new management the quality is still good but the professionalism by the management is AWFUL. Today I drove from Lakeland to Bloomingdale for my appointment at 11am which they gave zero effort in confirming just a text offering the appointment, then I called them to say I'd be a few mins late and NO APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED, they didn't even call to try and confirm it, just gave it to someone else. Then offered me a 1pm appointment, which had me and my 8 year old son hanging out waiting from 11am to 1pm....as I pulled up at 1pm for my appointment they called and said they needed to cancel that one too. I will not go back, if my time and money isn't valued there, (been a a loyal customer for a while) I'll go somewhere closer to home. If you want to roll the dice and go here, I suggest Stephanie she is awesome and the only reason why I gave any stars at all without her I'd give none, but the 40 min drive and upgraded membership fee I pay every month plus tip and everything else I can get the same if not better down the street in Lakeland, at least if they mess up it's not a 40 min drive for no reason and complete lack of consideration.
