Heroes Paradise — Local services in Brandon

Our family just found this place yesterday. We booked a slot for laser tag and went today. The setup and play options are impressive! I always forget to write reviews, but this place left an impression on me. The owner seems to have put a lot of thought into every detail and I think the quotes posted everywhere really added a special touch for me.

Booking, waiver signing and paying was made easy online before you go. Outside they have a big archery tag field, two laser tag areas, two RC car tracks, a drone area and a nice big shaded structure to grab a bite to eat from the Cafe. They even have field games they offer for free if people are interested. Inside they have a few free retro arcade games for those of us from the 80's and a small area to shoot arrows at floating balls while you're waiting for everyone to gather for laser tag. I didn't know I could shoot a bow and arrow until today. They also have a rock climbing wall and a virtual reality game. Sounds silly, but the hand washing machines were pretty sweet! I may be forgetting other options, but they have so much to do there.

Laser tag was the best when they gave us a mission. So much fun and cool to work together with strangers. I could see it being used as a fun team building event for other business employees. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. If I could change one thing, it would be to help guide the kids in understanding to respect the equipment and put their gear back when they're done instead of leaving it for the staff to gather it all up to sort out. Just left a kid's birthday party, and I cannot say enough great things about this place! From the staff to the outside course to the indoor rockwall, all the kids (and parents) loved being here. Brooke was the designated host, and she was on top of it all. My friend (the b-day mom), was really happy with how smooth it all went, too. All of the adults were impressed with the layout of the course, Elysium, and loved the "observation windows" in the comfort of AC upstairs. The outdoor deck, featuring cornhole, was also really neat, and offered a great view of all the courses. The two surprises: a walking T-Rex "boss target" (as my son called it) came out at the end of their laser tag battle! The coolest thing ever! And to end the party, the kids (and some dads) got to take a joy ride around the property in the awesome Heroes Paradise truck! A total hit for everyone... Just amazing... you definitely don't get that at other b-day parties. The pizza and chicken strips were actually pretty good, and we also had subs and fruit. I'm not sure what my friend paid for the party (about 10 kids), but I'm telling you, it was worth it for sure. I did a SkyZone party some years ago for my son, and paid $300 - and as nice as that was, I'm sorry to say, this topped it hands down. So glad I pulled my kids off their video games and brought them here! Heroes Paradise would be an awesome experience for corporate team building, ladies night out, family reunion activity, group couples’ date etc. too. My two teens and group of friends loved playing on the Hades course. It was totally different and much more expansive than when we came last year - so if you haven’t been here in a while, come back; it’s an entirely new experience. Spectators: The owners and management were so accommodating, allowing us to bring in storebought food to enjoy on their open air deck, with a bird’s eye view of the action below and big screens displaying the individual players’ stats in real time. While chatting with the owners, we got to hear the Heroes Paradise story from vision for the space to reality; inspiring! And they offer a military / law enforcement discount (thank you!). Time of day: Speaking for the 6pm time slot: The darkness made for more gameplay excitement, and the cafe lighting and cool evening temps on the deck were perfect. Employees: My boys loved playing with the teen employees, who directed them in a variety of “missions” to keep gameplay fresh. They have been trained well: very respectful and engaged, and multiple employees asked me if everyone was having fun. Can’t...
