Came as a part of a package deal so took the kids to it. Got in, the lady immediately started barking rules and selling her scavenger hunt. We explained our kids needed to use the washroom. We were the only people in the entire museum. This ruined her day for some reason. My wife took the kids to the washroom. I told her she could just explain the scavenger hunt to me (no biggie). She proclaimed, “I absolutely will NOT explain the scavenger hunt and rules until everyone is present.” I laughed at her and walked away and browsed the gift shop. Everyone came out. The kids are 2 & 4 so they could care less about what she is saying. There were 2 dinosaur heads low hanging in the gift shop. They caught the kids attention, she had just explained not to touch any dinosaurs. The kids started to raise their hands towards the dinosaurs I start scalding them and trying to explain how we’re not going to do that she cuts me off and starts screaming at them. I calmly said, “lady, I have it under control.” We proceed into the museum which was EXTREMELY underwhelming. Yes, they have big fake dinosaurs but they are very very very fake looking. But, here’s the kicker, remember how it was a very big deal not to touch the dinosaurs. Well, I’m not exaggerating, there are literally 200-300 live feral cats running around the museum climbing all over the dinosaurs. Hahaha. Anyway, we go through it in about 5 minutes and the lady angrily asks, “you’re already done? Did you even do the scavenger hunt?” I said no, we just wanted to enjoy the dinosaurs. We didn’t need any extra distractions. Mad, she said, “well, your kids are going to want something from the gift shop and you just missed out on 10% off. That would have been your prize.” My kids didn’t want anything and we just started walking towards the exit, so I said, “have a nice day! Thanks for coming to my museum!” Since she said nothing. This is a zero out of 5 stars attraction. The dinosaurs are very unimpressive, there are hundreds of live stray cats running around and lady at the front counter is one of the rudest humans I’ve ever came across in life and I work with the public on a...

We visited the Dinosaur Museum in Branson, Missouri using a free ticket we received from the Branson Show website after purchasing circus show tickets. It was a fun bonus and turned out to be a great little stop for our family.
🦕 The museum is pretty small and low-key, but it features a surprisingly wide variety of dinosaur models—from towering T. rex and gentle Brachiosaurus to lesser-known species. The displays are informative and easy for kids to understand, with signs that explain each dinosaur’s traits and era.
👧 Our daughters absolutely loved it! They explored freely, asked questions, and posed with their favorite dinos. The quiet atmosphere made it easy to take our time and enjoy each exhibit without crowds or noise.
📍 It’s located near other Branson attractions, so it’s easy to fit into your itinerary. The museum was clean, the staff were friendly, and the gift shop had cute, affordable souvenirs.
⏱️ We spent about 30–45 minutes inside, which felt just right for a quick educational break.

Read moreThe Dinosaur 🦕 Museum was just ok. It will only take about 30 to 45 minutes to walk around if you take pictures and read the plaques. The dinosaurs are all stationary with no animatronics. The theming around the dinosaurs is not very good. The dinosaurs themselves are done pretty good. This attraction would appeal to young children and can be a good educational opportunity. There is a gift shop with dinosaur themed products. Admission is around $12, however, it is possible to visit for free with a voucher you can obtain from some ticket places for free with no obligation or as a package with tickets and other perks but will be required to sit through a timeshare presentation. I only recommend doing that if you can say no. If you can day no its a great way to get tickets, Photos, dinner vouchers, etc and say hundreds of dollars for just about 3-4 hours of your time. They will say 2 hours but I'm just telling you what it will really be. The attached pictures will give you a good idea of what you can expect...
