summary: 1.) I went with my wife and our three kids eight, six, four. the 8th and 6-year-old could ride every ride, there were no limitations. the 4-year-old could ride all but one ride. 2.) even with kids we were able to ride every ride at least five or six times. that includes about a half hour at the wave pool and about an hour at the splash pad and 45 minutes in the lazy river. 3.) so lazy river was cool, there was quite a lot of people but the water moves at a decent pace and it's primarily in the shade. 4.) the splash pad was also night but it was quickly to fill with kids and seemed pretty crammed. one of the nice things is that there was only one entrance in to that area so it was easy to keep track of the kiddos. I do wish that there would have been a few more things for them to do in that area. 5.) the rides were great. there was a huge one person drop slide, there were Matt racing slides, there was a floor dropout pipe slide, there was two different tube rides, there was a family tube ride. the rides were all fun and had pretty short wait times overall for being a pretty crowded day. I think the park would be cooler if they added some more rides because as I mentioned we were able to do he tried five or six times with three small kids. the family too bride only seated four people in a person tube, it would have been nice if it was a five or six person ride so we didn't have to keep splitting up. 6.) shoes, you will want to bring water shoes all of the area is concrete and it starts to hurt the feet after a long day and it gets quite hot. the downside with shoes, is that you are asked to remove your shoes before riding the ride. we would typically wear our shoes around the park and then take them off just before heading up to get on the ride. 7.) the staff was very friendly and did a good job moving things along and did a pretty good job keeping the park clean. 8.) we did not eat food in the park, instead we made some sandwiches and ate them in the picnic area out front. it was super easy to get the food from the car as the parking lot is right next to the park. 9.) overall, our kids and us had a great time and enjoyed all the park had offer. the rides were all fun and exciting. the park was also very family friendly. if you're looking for some outlandish water rides I suggest that you go somewhere else but for our party and age group...
ย ย ย Read moreI am writing this in hopes that someone from customer service at White Water will view this. I attended White Water today on Wednesday July 20, 2022. Our experience began very pleasantly. I ate in the park and was greeted by super friendly staff at the restaurant and a janitor immediately cleaned our table after eating. After that I spent the majority of the time with my family in the lazy river. My little sister who is a lifeguard at another facility had worn her guard swimsuit to White Water. While floating around the pool she casually joked with a lifeguard on duty that she would give them a break if they wanted one and pointed to her guard logo. The guard laughed and we continued floating down the river as everyone was aware that it was a joke. 15-20 minutes later another guard (or maybe a manager) screamed across the river at some boys behind us who were horse playing. (I thought nothing of the event as the boys probably needed to be gotten onto.) Then the lifeguard/manager decided to press a little further and she yelled โAnd if youโre not a guard here donโt you dare offer to give my guards a break or I will kick you out of this pool!โ She then entered the water and followed my little sister all the way around the river pointing her out to all the guards. This guard offered no prior warning before threatening to kick her out, nor did the lifeguard she joked with address the issue at the time of the incident. Having been in aquatics before I understand that correcting patrons and preventing unsafe situations is essential. However, this guardโs behavior was completely inappropriate. Ellis and Associates (the company that White Water certified their guards through) requires that guards are professional and kind to patrons. This rudeness ruined our experience and based on other poor reviews specifically of lazy river lifeguards on Google, I am hesitant to ever return.
If this behavior was a result of poor facility procedure and protocol then supervisors need to seriously examine their policies. If it was a result of a rude lifeguard/manager providing poor customer service then she needs to be removed from her job. (This guard or manager was wearing a red guard suit with red shorts and was not wearing her required lifeguard shirt despite being out in the sun. She had brown hair and was working sometime...
ย ย ย Read moreOur family of four spent most of the day there. Our kids are 11 & 9, boy and girl. Overall it was a good time. A few complaints we had are one of the rides broke down, and no one told anyone what was going on. We stood in line for almost 2 hours and were never told what was going on. Several people finally left, including us. We were so close to the front of the line we hated to leave, but it was way too hot, 100ยฐ+ day, to be left standing in line, and with no communication of what was going on, it was very frustrating. This was only our second ride. We went back later in the day to the same ride and it only took about 30-40 minutes to get through the line. There are several things to do, many with super long lines. The wave pool is fun, but very crowded. The lazy river was our favorite. Most of the staff was friendly. I highly recommend if you are planning to go have water shoes, the concrete was very ๐ฅ๐ฅ, don't take more than you need in with you, unless you have someone in your group that is willing to watch everything while everyone else plays. You can rent lockers, which we did, it was nice to have a safe place for valuable items we had to take in, and stuff we didn't want to carry with us. You can take your own water in, and I saw several that carried in smaller coolers.
For what you pay, it cost us almost $200 for the day, we had a good time, but I doubt we would go back. The fast pass, or whatever it's called is annoying, when your waiting in line, and you will wait, and you have people that can go right past you and ride over and over again before you can even get a chance to ride is BS! We had one kid that passed us at least 5 times, in the 30-40 minutes we waited in.line for one ride. Yes, I get that they are paying extra for that option, but with a family of 4, that would be another $200+ added on top of our...
