My name is Brian Johnson, I Purchased a two door large Genaire freezer and refrigerator, a microwave, dishwasher, range hood and a range all manufactured by Jenair.My order has been a fiasco from day one. Let’s start off with a refrigerator, refrigerator was installed by a company that was not qualified to install high end equipment and did not know what they were doing. The refrigerator was installed and crooked and not level with the cabinets, not screw together or not screwed to the cabinet. In addition was missing the exterior handle, exterior stainless steel cover and kick plate. In addition the refrigerator and the freezer had no water for dispensing water or ice. Now let’s move on to the range hooked, this was also installed incorrectly. We paid to have all the appliances installed by a certified installation crew. The hood was installed with no hook ups to the vent that was provided in the proper location only 12 inches away from point of connection. Installer said that they don’t go into the attic It would not tie in the unit.Now let’s move on to the Range, we waited 8-9 months to receive the range. In the meantime after four months we were provided with a temporary 30 inch stove to get us bye. Finally our range was delivered after a year, only to find out that it was not what we originally requested and purchased. So since then we’ve been utilizing the range that was not what we paid for and was the wrong design. For over an additional 5 to 6 months we have been waiting for our permanent purchased range. Also keep in mind that we paid cash in full for this type of service. In addition I have lost five days of my Salary waiting to receive the wrong merchandise and or poor installation. Last July I started shopping for a high end appliance set for a kitchen remodel. Went back and forth between thermador, viking, and wolf. During this process I was visited a few different stores including the pacific sales in Irvine. All I have to say none of the sales representatives showed any attentiveness. Then I had a friend who purchased an appliance set from Brea specifically a sales representative named Larrell and said he was phenomenal so I gave it a shot. Drove to Brea met with Larrell and within a few minutes I knew I was in good hands. Larrell was not only incredibly informative but he showed he wasn't just trying to quickly turn a sale. But made sure we were going to be happy with our purchase for the long haul. So that day we ended up purchasing a full Cove, Sub-zero, Wolf set of appliances. He warned how the supply chain was out of whack and he will be providing regular updates of the status.
Sure enough it is march; and since July we would get a weekly call on Thursday when the shipment move with a status update. Even if t was no movement. This kind of effort post sales showed he was there beyond just the point of sale and that he was looking out for our interest; which helped us time the remodel and kept our contractor in the loop. Larrell also provided guidance on getting the bet installer for such high end appliances. Sure enough who he recommended turned out to be great they were clean and patience during last minute modifications since it required many custom cabinetry.

Read moreMy landlord purchased a dishwasher from this store. When it was delivered we were told they did not get a part with the unit and they could not install it. We were told the part would be sent to us and to call to reschedule to installation. I attempted to call the salesperson twice last week with absolutely no response. When I tried to speak with a manager last Saturday they were apparently all busy so I had to wait over 4 hours for a returned call. It happened to be when I was working so I was unable to answer. I finally got to speak with someone today and the part was "ordered;" however, still has not been deliver weeks later. I find this hard to believe because of the difficulty I have had reaching the salesperson. I specifically asked for a tracking number in my initial message so no response makes me wonder if there was a misstep they are trying to cover up.
As it is I would suggest that you look for another option in appliance purchases. While there is a possibility the issue is related to the vendor of the device, the inability to contact the salesperson an unavailability of store management to resolve customer issues is enough of a reason to find a store with better customer service both before and after the sale.
Edit: Two weeks later and the dishwasher is STILL not installed. I attempted to escalate the issue to their regional manager and was told at the store level that they cannot share his info. I was told they would take my info and have him contact me......... 5 days later and nothing. I am assuming they did not forward my info.
