Carmel Cafe — Restaurant in Brea

Moved back to the area recently and was looking for a nice breakfast spot for a burrito. This popped up just around the corner from our house, the menu looked good, croissants looked great, so I decided to try it out. My wife and I went all out the first time and split the burrito and the breakfast sandwich, as well as a strawberry croissant. Admittedly too much food, but we wanted to try it all. It took a little longer than expected, but it was worth the wait. The croissant was warm, flaky and delicious. The sandwich was great, with a fluffy egg, great sauce and tasty bacon. I love burritos and this one did not disappoint. From the fluffy eggs to the potato hash, the homeade salsa and the final panini grill on the tortilla, it was fantastic! For the past couple of years, I've been visiting here from time to time when I forget to bring my lunch. It's one of my go-to places. I always order the Breakfast Burrito with a spinach wrap and bacon. I’ve tried other meals, but the breakfast burrito never disappoints, so I decided to stick with it. It lifts up my day. I have the choice of bacon or sausage, and I choose depending on my mood.

The environment inside is cozy. I like the choice of dishes; they are cute and colorful. The people are very nice, and they always check on how I'm doing. It feels like they really care about you, even though I only say "hi" and...

Nailed it! This cute little cafe deserves more than five stars. Such kind women run this establishment! Incredibly delicious food with croissants that melt in your mouth. And oh my goodness the little bakery. Adorable! I came here with two other colleagues for breakfast. We ordered the croissant sandwich, and my colleagues ordered the burritos. We all had coffee and chai tea. Everything was delicious, hot, and the service was just incredible. I'm shocked that others have not taken the time to write such a great review on this establishment. The place was packed by the time we left. And it's no wonder! Can't wait...
