I have a membership here. And I absolutely love the convenience of your location. I have never had an issue until recently. The last facial I got, I believe in January, was far from what I usually get, even by booking the same service. It was suppose to be 60 minutes long, she rushed and I was done in under 40 minutes. I also advised her that I have very sensitive skin and can only use certain products (which was noted in my chart, as she did tell me). But she said “oh your skin is fine. We’ll use regular stuff.” Which once again lead to an allergic reaction which took 2 weeks to heal from. I said to myself, don’t let one bad service turn you away. So I booked a massage for today, since back has been killing me. The girl I had, did not stop talking, was cursing while telling me stories and said some things that shouldn’t have been said to a stranger! Never know what someone is going thru. The massage, I could have had my husband rub my back like she did. There was no massage technique use at all. I booked a certain type of massage that the last girl recommended (who I should have just booked with bc she was amazing), and got the “basic massage”. The front desk girl asked how everything was and I said “it was ok. But I didn’t get the massage I booked.” She looked at me and then said “ok, it’s $$$.” I asked why and she said bc it eas a premier service and I told her, again, I didn’t get what I booked. Had emergency surgery to remove a gall bladder and had to cancel an appointment that had been scheduled previously weeks in advance. I understand the importance of keeping appointments, and running g a business. But the problem is they do not send appointment reminders nor call to remind you of an appointment . I cancelled the day of when it popped up on my calendar that morning hours in advance and they charged me $90 for cancelling same day of. Very aggressive cancelation policy that is not posted nor do they call to remind d as a courtesy in what should be considered a luxury service. If clients schedule weeks in advance then have the forethought to call and remind clients IN ADVANCE as part of the spa service. I am supposed to feel cared for and yet I feel taken advantage of. Everytime I have ever called there I have been placed on hold for too long. The front desk staff is poorly trained. Instinctively I knew not to sign up for the plan where they automatically charge you every month based on initial interactions. This place is Low budget with a lack of regard for clients well-being, I would spend your hundreds of dollars in a place where you feel valued. Read moreSuper dissappointed in my massage. The "therapist" had no idea what she was doing and I was shocked that a seemingly high end spa would hire someone with no evident masseuse skills. She also made me feel extremely uncomfortable the way she spoke to me. I tipped her but wish I hadn't. Her name was Destiny. I was looking so forward to using the gift card my daughter purchased for me and she is so upset that I had this experience. I also booked my massage well in advance and booked a head/scalp oil treatment with it but at the start of the appointment the "therapist" told me she could not find any oil so she could not do that service. She did so many awkward things during the massage (including leaving tons of oil on my feet before she abruptly ended the massage and left leaving me to clean off my own feet so I wouldn't slip on the floor). I literally (for the first time ever) could not wait for the 90 minutes to be over. I did mention to the front desk when they asked me how it was that I would probably not return and they asked me if they could have their manager contact me the next day,..I obviously said yes. She did not contact me until about 4 days later when I was already out of the country so therefore that was the end of that. Never had a chance to speak with anyone-no follow up email-nothing. Just be very wary of the therapist you choose and look for personal GOOD recommendations ...
