Disgusting, unsanitary conditions paired with emotionally unstable staff. We walked in as a family at a quiet time shortly after 4:00pm. My 5 year old sonās half pizza came out badly burned. I gently requested it be remade and was rudely rebuffed. I held up the charred pizza and said I donāt feel comfortable feeding carcinogens to a small child. The Hispanic woman with thick glasses again told me it was just blackened flour and nothing was wrong with the pizza (categorically false explanation for a blackened pizza). I stood firm and told her it needed to be remade at which point she lost her cool and apparently so did her female manager who both behaved like toddlers. They were slamming sharp pizza cutters, threw his breadsticks on top of the oven and stomped around. The pizza came out again fine this time and they handed it to me. I reminded I needed his half breadsticks. The angry woman shouted at me they had to be thrown away. I calmly reminded I watched toss them on top of the oven in anger. She remade the breadsticks and put sauce on top of them. As I calmly reminded her my small child did not order sauce she REALLY lost her mind and started yelling along with the female manager. I asked the female shouting manager her name and she rightly refused to identify herself after such disgusting behavior. My husband walked over and told them it was not ok to behave like that. At that point I started pointing out other egregiously inappropriate behaviors like her personal keys and coco cola sitting on the countertop where food was being prepared and touching the parchment paper laid out for my food. The keys and coke were quickly tossed as the angry women continued to shout until I pulled out my phone to record and they switched to āgod bless you and please put this on tik tokā mode. I canāt recall my children ever observing such unhinged behavior. As my husband intervened, a male manager came over and offered us free food or a refund or anything to diffuse the angry females situation. We declined as that was not at all our aim. We only wanted clean safe food prepared as ordered. The male manager deserves a promotion, but the two females need anger management classes ASAP as well as remedial food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreReally really bad. I will never go here again. Blaze is supposed to be a good franchise but this location is disgusting.
The pizza dough was genuinely deformed. Not one or two, all the doughs were misshapen or deformed or torn in some way, its like they don't know how to use the dough shaping machine properly.
All the ingredients were mixed around with each other in the display. Apart from it being obviously visible, I know that because on my pizza were toppings I didn't ask for.
The employees seem to not give a damn about preparing your food properly, even though you are in front of them! Not one of the toppings was laid out evenly across the pizza, in fact, all the toppings were simply concentrated in the center. And they barely put on most of the toppings. When I initially asked for onions, the employee put on 5 individual strands of misshapenly chopped onions (all in the middle, obviously) and I had to request him to do it properly. When I asked for garlic on top, he threw on all the cloves mostly on a single slice with one or two on one other slice. Not to mention, they were making fun of another customer's order out loud in front of the customer, further down the line. One of the employees was wearing his pants so far below his waist, you could see his underwear.
Look, I don't like to police the way someone chooses to dress, but that sort of thing cannot and should not be allowed in a kitchen. It's simply not okay. The employee preparing my pizza didn't even change gloves after handling meat toppings for another customer. There's clear cross contamination happening. I can excuse a LOT of these things on most days because I understand things can't be perfect during rush periods. However, this was not such a time. There was no one in line behind me and the line had one or two people ahead of me when I got there.
Overall, if you care about food safety and employee sanitary practices, I wouldn't go here ever. The pizza was also burnt to black cardboard around the crust. Bad experience for me, hope it gets better for people who choose to give this location...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNEVER AGAIN!!! THEY STILL OWE ME 20 DOUGH KNOTS!!! If you knew me, you'd realize that it must've been pretty bad for me to spend my own time writing this review. I placed an order for my family via the Blaze app; it instructed me to pickup our order about 30 minutes later at approximately 7:45 PM. Upon arrival at 7:50 PM my daughter and I waited until 8 PM before finally asking the status of our order; it took several people over 5 min to even find our order, at which time we were told they had NOT even started making our pizzas yet, and they couldn't give me a time estimate. After pleading with them to "guess" I was told 10 min. OK, fine; we left, waited in the car, came back in 30 min.....STILL NOT READY!!! At this point I was getting annoyed, but decided I would drive my kids home, then come back to get our order myself. I finally came back nearing 9:30, and to my utter SHOCK OUR ORDER WAS STILL NOT WAITING!!! I asked what the heck, and had to proceed to tell them what I had ordered. After handing me the 2 pizzas, one of which was totally burned, I had to ask AGAIN for the 2 orders of dough knots. The guy says to me, "did you order 2 or 4?". I replied that we ordered a lot more than that; however, after all of this, he starts arguing with me stating they only come in 2 or 4 increments. Well, after spending another 5 min to get the order details, it showed we had ordered 2 orders of 10 each!!! Upon realizing he didn't know what in the hell he was talking about, he huffed away to get my dough knots.....HE NEVER CAME BACK!!!! I finally just left with the 2 pizzas. Meanwhile, my wife had fed our starving kids something else for dinner. What an utter debacle!!! It is totally obvious that Blaze continued to accept orders way past what they actually had the capacity to fulfill. To me that is just totally unethical. They stated our order would be ready when they had to know that was impossible. Bottom line???...
