Day of Visit - April 5, 2018
First, I like to say thank you for opening the Habit Burger Grill in Bridgewater, NJ. I've went to the other one in Fair Lawn, NJ a few times, but it is 40-50 minutes away from my location.
What's good about the Habit Burger Grill is the great taste of their burgers for a reasonable price. I hope this one can be as good as the one in Fair Lawn.
The timing of being greeted by the cashier was a little longer than expected...
The Original Double Char was a little overcooked and wasn't as juicy as the ones in Fair Lawn. Actually, it was somewhat burnt. But I really like the taste of the char that was done on the burger themselves. Just to mention, it was made to order...
What makes it great is their homemade teas and juices. I LOVE them! (and free refills) They have 2 choices of juices whereas the one in Fair Lawn NJ only has 1.
I will definitely come back here when the weather gets much warmer here. I was not disappointed with the opening day experience here. Hope they can do better!! Wish them luck
April 14 Update
So I ordered the Santa Barbara Burger, they nailed it. The sourdough bread was crispy and absolutely delicious. With fries and drink was still under $12,...
Read moreMy family & I went to Habit this weekend. We originally had reservations at a local restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were told their computer system was down & there would be extensive delays in ordering if we could even order at all. We were in a time crunch, so we left & went to HB. Their kiosk & mobile app were down so I could not order the family bundle as planned. Renatta was amazing and so accommodating, helping us place our family's order. She was so sweet and apologetic about their system's issues to place our order. She said she wanted to do anything she could to make my daughter's birthday special & help us be on our way due to the time crunch with all the time we lost changing plans. The food was delicious as always & my daughter was given a vanilla milkshake (her fav) to celebrate her birthday. I wanted to give a shout out to Renatta because she went above and beyond making sure our meal was to our liking and by providing excellent customer service. My daughter was super happy & had a great birthday meal. Thank you...
Read moreFriendly staff... similar setup to 5 guys, smashburger, and shake shack where you go up to the counter to order and it’s cooked to order. Most toppings are free but extra for cheese (+0.75) bacon (+$1.49), or avocado (+$1.59). There are specialty burgers and chicken sandwiches which come with some of the extras in the price for a slight discount. Burgers cooked fresh unlike standard fast food. Like more upscale burger chains shakes and fries are prominent on the menu. The burger is good and prices very reasonable for upscale burger chain. Prices are better than a shake shack but equal to 5 guys and smashburger and similar chains. Not nearly as good as Peter Luger or Minetta’s Tavern burger but those are $25+ a burger. Good burger for price. Will go back to try their other offerings.
Tried Ahi Tuna sandwich which was very good. Put up a picture. Sandwich does not have raw tuna in it btw.
Added onion ring and Santa Barbara Charburger to pictures
The number of drink options is very wide from soda to fruit punches to...
