Brothers Upholstery — Attraction in Bristol

Potential buyer/customer beware!!! My experience with Sal was nothing short of unprofessional. He does not document conversations nor the prices he quotes over the phone which causes frequent misunderstandings. As a result, he gets defensive when he is asked questions about price and scope increases. He has advertisements for free quotes but demands $100 for a written quote which would help eliminate misunderstandings.

Upon arriving to our home, the price quoted increased $90 and an additional service was offered for $50. At the threat of my wife and I deciding not to secure the recommended service, Sal began to belittle us by stating that our service needs were much smaller than what he normally does so he could do without our business. I went to Brothers Upholstery to consider the option of buying new furniture OR having the cushions replaced on my current furniture. They were very helpful in providing clear and accurate information so I could make an informed decision based on the situation. I decided to proceed with replacing the cushions. Today I received my cushions back for both my couch & loveseat from Brothers Upholstery. I must say I am very pleased with the results. I could not possibly be happier!!! I called Brothers Upholstery back in March. I had 2 chairs I wanted re-upholstered. I took my chairs in and Josh explained I was looking at a 2 month wait because they were backed up with work. I could have gone somewhere else but I decided to wait. I AM SO GLAD I DID! DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT! He made my 2 frumpy-looking chairs from blah to BEAUTIFUL! It’s more than obvious that they paid attention to every detail! They are truly skilled and totally professional.
