My child’s 2nd lesson today and I’m not impressed with the instructors (teenagers). My 7 yo was told “don’t play stupid” when he said he didn’t know to a question they asked. They also asked him if he wanted to use googles. He said no—she proceeded to tell him that he has no choice. When they continuously pressured him to put his face in the water (he has tried to his max comfort), I intervened and told them that he doesn’t have to if he doesn’t feel comfortable—it’s his 2nd day. The girl looked at me with an attitude and continued to attempt. The instructors are not too friendly as they never greeted me and never speak a word to me. The only employee who is friendly is the kind young lady who signed us up. I did let her know about our experience and she was very understanding and helped sign him up with one of the young men for his future lessons. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed with how my child was treated and I will be speaking with a manager if our experience continues to deteriorate. I hope the young man creates a fun & welcoming environment for my...

Read moreTook my 4-month-old grandson to his first swimming lesson at Big Blue Swim School we were, pleased. Sarah was his swim instructor she was amazing. She was friendly, patient, focused, and gentle with the babies and toddlers. She did a wonderful job. Thank you, Sarah! The facility is beautiful. Large dressing rooms all with changing tables for the babies. Clean, Clean from the bathrooms, showers. A young man named Christian took us on a tour of the facility. He was nice and greeted us when we first walked through the door. Loved his sense of humor and his customer service was top-notch. He took great care of us and any concerns or questions we had. My daughter was nervous about her son getting in the water, but the staff made her feel comfortable. I love how they went over every detail of his beginner swim lesson class thoroughly. My grandson enjoyed the water. He did amazing. He slept all the way home. We will be back on Saturday for his next lesson. Love it!...
