I call this my little Mexico mart. It's not really that little, but it careers to mostly the Hispanic community of Buford highway. That means you'll get tons of fresh produce and fruits for great prices depending on what is fresh locally and in season, but most produce is stuff that you'll find for Mexican food. Great fresh jalapenos, and tomatoes, and avocados... But no cauliflower to be seen. I don't buy my squash here because they often look bruised and sad and non Hispanic vegetables like cauliflower are really even stocked. You won't be finding most popular food brands here, vegan foods, or low fat processed stuff... The Krogers nearby are great for that,, but instead you'll find international fresh brands like milagro, the best fresh corn tortillas. Not much in the way of kraft and low-fat cheese, more crema and frying cheese. I don't come here for my normal groceries, I come here specifically for the things that I use to make my Mexican food and my salads it is true that because it's a farmers market you have to check the food carefully for spoiling. Oftentimes the onions are fully rotted and covered in bugs because they don't use as many pesticides. But where else can you find fresh avocados 4 for a dollars and 25 limes for a dollar. I regularly buy my melting cheese, my crema, my fresh milagro tortillas, and all of my Mexican toppings here. I also can find seasonal streals like 4 pints of strawberries for a dollar or 30 oranges for a dollar when...

Read moreA farmers market that you have probably have never heard of but you really should know about. It doesn't have the variety of the Buford Farmers Market or the Dekalb Farmers Market but it's respectable in its own right.
Located in a shopping center (with goodwill), you probably can't even see it from the main road. It has a great selection of Mexican and some Asian groceries. They produce is outrageously cheap, though the freshness isn't quite up to par as compared to your neighborhood publix or Kroger meaning you shouldn't expect a long shelf life. I love coming here for limes, cilantro, tomatoes, onions, and jalapeños (seriously cheap).
They have seafood, and it appears to be fairly fresh. You get a pretty good selection of fish at great prices. You also find an assortment of cut and marinaded meats. This is where I get meat for tacos or fajitas.
They have a couple of aisles with Asian goods and an assortment of spices. If you live nearby, its definitely worth a visit. I think you'll be surprised by the...
