Read moreReally disappointing experience. Got takeout from this place and ordered the crab rangoon, General Tso’s chicken, vegetable chow mein, beef & broccoli, white rice, and fried rice. The crab Rangoon was the only good part of the experience, and it wasn’t priced $1 per piece like nearly every Chinese restaurant in Atlanta. The General Tso’s chicken was more like General Tso’s breading. Every piece was 90% breading and 10% chicken. The beef and broccoli was fine, but still subpar because the beef was quite chewy and the sauce thick & slimy. I couldn’t find a single noodle in the vegetable chow mein (seriously, look at the picture and tell me if you can identify one). The sweet-and-sour sauce is more like sweet and sour Jell-O. The rice is fine, but hard to mess that up so I won’t give it much praise. I generally judge places with the question, “would I ever eat here again?” I can answer that question with a swift and certain “No.” Save yourself the trouble, time, and money by taking a First look at this place in...
This is a place you might try if you are famished and all other places including local roadkill burger joints and closed. Eat quick while holding your breath. But be careful, your staff likely will contain peaces of woody substance not really rock hard, but definitely unreadable. Taste of the orders we got is hard to describe. Mix of leftovers from Mexican restaurant with some gray substance. Definitely not at all Chinese. Not even slightly resemble any of the ingredients or spices. By the way, we ordered nothing fancy, just a staples of the Chinese Cousine - Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao chicken. To be fair it was beef and...
Read moreWhile the service was fast and friendly the food was not good. We ordered shrimp fried rice and mixed vegetables. The fried rice was very plain. We saw two carrots no peas no egg, nothing and the rice was overcooked. The vegetables were okay but I ordered garlic and spicy and it was neither of those. Not really mixed either. I'm used to bok choy, cabbage, bamboo shoots, water chestnut and I didn't taste any of those. It was heavy on broccoli, bell peppers, mushroom and baby corn which was good. I'm not sure if I would try again. It's very close to home but I...
