Beautiful park with tall trees. Close to Hillcrest pool. Right across the street from the McDonalds. Has tennis courts and shelters. The playgrounds are in amazing but they work. Good location pretty scenery lots of picnic tables.

Nice open place to visit CoVID 19 status: This place is moderately visited. You can see about 15 vehicles during the day. This was a very nice multi-use Park in the middle of Brookings. The Gathering Place had a nice shelter with some nice amenities like a sink and access to water.
