Terrible management. Today, I came into the store with my mom in finding this laab sauce that she wanted. The kitchen staff makes these kinds of sauce. My mom wanted the fresh ones, but also for med spicy. There were some laab sauce already made in the fridge so I happened to look at each and every single one of them, which stated it was "SPICY". So we ring the bell and the kitchen lady comes up, I was explaining to her that my mom wanted the medium laab sauce and if she could make it. I understand its not her fault for not knowing how to speak English, but then manager/owners came out of nowhere and asked what we needed. I proceed to explain the same thing to her as I did with the kitchen lady and even mention that I checked all the ones in the fridge and they are all spicy. She said that "The lady in the back only ask for 2 days out of the 365 days for time off and I'm giving it to her, she is not making any more sauce and whatever we have in the fridge for the laab sauce that's all we have. Also med and spicy is THE SAME THING. You should read the sign." and she stormed off. I would not be shopping here anymore, I lived close to this Asian market and I usually come shop here but after this incident I feel that they are super unprofessional, rude and have no customer service skills, please bring your money elsewhere.    Read moreTAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Most unprofessional upper management and even more unprofessional staff. I called 17 times, each time asking to be transferred to deli so that I could place an order, however, when I was transferred, the ladies in the deli could not hear me, a few times I was not transferred because the person who picked up the phone would simply hang up on me.
The last and final time I called, I asked to speak to management. When management got on the phone, I asked for her name, first she refused to give me her name. I explained the situation, she replied stating I need to understand this happens everywhere…. NO it does not. Instead of addressing the issue, I (the loyal customer) was asked to be understanding? After asking 3 times, Jessica finally told me her name. I felt as though Jessica did not address the issue, therefore, I asked to speak to the other manager because I know him from being a FREQUENT customer and she refused, stating it was her husband…. Whether he is her husband or not, I don’t care…. this issue obviously supersede her capabilities of being a professional store owner. Completely unprofessional and I’m embarrassed I ever support a store with such poor customer service, low communication and problem solving skills.    Read moreMy elderly mother forgot her paid groceries there. When we called back the next day they said not the their fault. I showed them the receipt with exact time and asked them to check the security cameras because my mother needs the groceries to make it through the month. They checked the security camera but won’t let us see it and said, oh well it probably got put back, again not their fault. In addition we bought my mother a rice cooker for Christmas. When it was opened and tried, it did not work so we asked for an even exchange. They said no returns or exchanges regardless of the circumstance. We didn’t want our money back, just a working unit but apparently that was too much to ask for. I used to go here for all my Asian food needs but no more, unless it is an absolute last resort and never again will buy an electronic item from there.
