I have been a regular at this location for years. They have a very pleasant staff of young women whom I’ve always enjoyed being serviced by. However Laurie their manager has always caused issues for me. Over the years of going to this location Laurie has inconvienced me several times. She will forget to add the flavor shots to my coffee, she has forgotten to add the chocolate to my mochas, she has even at times forgotten to add the espresso and she never makes my coffee extra hot as I request and she’s never once apologized for it. Recently as of last week early in the morning on my way to work she made my drink with heavy whipping cream instead of the half n half that I ordered with. I called back to the store once I realized she gave me the wrong drink and I told her what she had done I followed up with telling her that I do not appreciate the service that she provides. The following weekend on Saturday February 23rd I went in to order my regular drink before heading to my kids basketball game around 11:50am. I had been told by other employees that Laurie is usually gone after 11 so I wasn’t expecting to see her there but behold as I walked in the door there she was. I waited in line and when it was finally my turn to order before I could speak Laurie told me that she had spoken to corporate and that I was going to need to find a different caribou to frequent, and that today would Be the last time that I would be serviced out of HER store. I was appalled and explained to her how she is the one who continuously makes the mistake. She went back and fourth with me for a few moments and finally I told her that I would be contacting corporate as well and I gave her my order. She then handed me back my survey coupon and told me that she was refusing me service. When I asked her on what grounds she said “because I do not want you in my store”. and then threatened to call the police on me if I did not leave. Now being that I am a black woman having her threaten me with the police was insulting seeing that I did nothing out of line to offend her or make her feel threatened. At this point I was very upset and towards the end of our interaction I took out my phone to video the remaining interaction with Laurie. If I would have had more time This day I would have loved to sit and wait for the police to come so I could see how things would have ended. I remember a incident that Starbucks recently delt with regarding their African American patrons that cost their company millions of dollars. However moral of the story and the complaint is that this location has a terrible, judgmental manager that is not savvy with the modern day rules of customer service. And that is to treat everyone with the same respect that you yourself would want and expect when your spending over $7.00 dollars a day on your coffee at your neighborhood barista. I have contacted corporate regarding my unfair treatment and I hope they are able to rectify this situation. If I were YOU I would skip this location. Especially if your black! Read moreWe tried Caribou delivery for the first time today. My husband was WFH, I was fighting off a bug, and we both needed a caffeine boost. We ordered a crafted press and a caramel something shaker at 3:49pm from the store that is 1.21 miles away from our house. We got a confirmation email giving an estimated delivery time of 4:24pm. A little longer than I thought it would take, but okay… and our drinks were both iced, not hot.
At approximately 4:10 (we weren’t keeping track of the exact time, since we didn’t know that would be necessary) we got a notification that our order was picked up and was on its way. Great! Even with another stop, the store is less than 5 minutes away, so a 4:24pm delivery time wasn’t out of the question.
4:24 came and went. Then 4:30. At 4:40 we tracked the delivery to find that the driver was directly across the river from our address. They finally made their way back across the river and delivered our coffee at 4:50PM.

I understand if they're busy it might take longer than the 5 minutes stated in the app, but they don't bring the order out to the pickup station when it's ready. They just leave it sitting behind the counter until maybe they notice you standing around waiting. I don't like to do negative reviews but this is a common occurrence at this location and today after 10 minutes of waiting an employee decided to just tell me that my order was waiting for me next to the register while she brought out someone else's order to the pickup shelf. Maybe they need to move the pick up location if they can't handle walking out from the counter with it when it's ready.
