Finally decided to check out plush on New Year’s Day seeing it’s a 35 min drive for us and we have been wanting to check it out for about 8-9 months now. Here is our experience…..We walked in we were not greeted by anyone so we didn’t know if it was seat yourself or wait to be seated situation. We walked to the back bar area where there was staff to ask the seating situation. The server had us wait to clean a table for us. The server seated us and came back with water the was disgusting. We ordered drinks and wings to start and ordered entrees about 15 min after when the server finally decided to come back to tell us the drinks are coming just waiting in the bartender. The Drinks took about another 10 minutes to come. The wings took about 40 minutes to come. (The plush sauce wings are fire I can say that) The Server told us she was grabbing small plates since we were sharing wings. We were waiting quite a bit so we decided to start picking at our wings and was going to also ask for ranch for my wings once she returned. She never came back with the plates so I never got ranch. By then our drinks were gone and we were never asked if we wanted another one. The entrees came after about a hour wait. I ordered the Jerk Chicken Alfredo which had no jerk flavor and was very oily. Literally had a pool of oil in the bottom of my bowl. (My friend ordered Catfish Mac and yams and said hers was good) I finally decided to ask for a Pepsi it came 10 min later and was disgusting and flat. The server took forever to bring us a box as she was getting tables ready for reserved party’s and the crowd was picking up and people were just lingering around our table waiting on tables which was why I asked for a box since people are standing around me while eating my food. We Asked for our tabs at that time. We never received a paper copy or shown a breakdown of our charges was just handed the machine to answer tip and service questions after providing our cards. After leaving realized we were charged full price for wings that we ordered during happy hour plus the total was more then what we added up with our tips so most likely gratuity was added without our knowledge. Together we spent about $120. Left there about 9ish. The parking lot was crowded by this time and people were lingering in the parking lot. Read moreI went to visit plush august 10th little after 10pm. There a few things that I immediately felt as weird. Our server did not bring us utensils. Also our table was sorta in front of the door. So we was real close to another table so when someone get up at the other table they bump our table so the space in there is small and the need to re arrange somethings . It was not that busy when we arrived . So we order drinks which my drink was okay it was not that good it costed 15 dollars and took the waiter almost a 30/40 mins to bring our drink mind you it was not that busy . I waiter name was Ciara I want to say which her attitude wasn’t too bad but you can tell she was either overwhelmed. I say that because there was literally only 2 serves her and some other girl. There was another lady who appeared to be the manager but not sure. Then after that we finally ordered food after waiting another 20 mins just to order wait another 20-30 mins for food in sections tho. Then waited another 20-30 mins for boxes and tab. Which the waiter would come serve other tables by us and not make no eye contact which made it hard to catch her attention to get a tab or box. She never communicated be back with you or I didn’t forget about yall. As well as the other lady that seems like the manage we tried to catch her attention and she act like she didn’t see us wave our hand completely avoiding us. Not to mention this restaurant include the tip in your bill which I feel is why the waiter don’t feel like she have to provide that much service or experience for us. We had to eventually walk up to the bar to pay our tab and then we asked for bags to put our food in she just hands them to us and struggle to open my cousin bag and actually gave up. I will tell yall this believe the negative reviews that people are leaving . Order your food for pick up do not stay because the service is not the best at all . It ruined my experience at the restaurant also don’t pay attention to the menu online because they did not have anything on the menu online on the menu in the restaurant. This business need better server training overall or just need to be closed. I do not plan on going back I will order to go. I had the salmon bites , buffalos chicken empanadas, waffle fries and Alfredo a taste of some. I wanted to order more but fear I would be there until 2 in the morning waiting for my food. Read moreI am a huge fan of supporting black businesses but at this point, I’ll do a review because I have given this place four different tries. Every single time my husband, friends and I have been here, our bill has been a problem. I go on my notepad in my phone and write down why we’re ordering because the waitresses are always overwhelmed! I’m not going to go back to the last three visits because this review will be extremely long. Yesterday was my husband’s birthday and we went to Plush with few of our friends. We had few drinks and a plate of catfish and a plate of salmon with friends. I calculated everything and our total bill should have been $128.00 plus tax. The waitress came to check us out and she said our bill was $214.78, I asked why? We went over the bill and we both were at $128.00 plus tax. She could not explain to me what the extra charges were for. I wanted her to tell me but my husband said it’s okay, just pay her. I paid her $214.78. Mind you, this amount was just for my husband and I. Not the entire table. When she was done, everyone else on our table paid their bill and we all walked outside. Everyone was headed to their cars, the security came running behind our group and said someone did not pay for a Jack and coke. The waitress came out and we asked her who did not pay, she then said all of you paid, but someone did not pay for a Jack and coke. I asked her so who did not pay? She kept saying none of you here, but someone else who was on your table. All of us who were on the table were standing right there. The security said to us, well , since she said it was someone from your table that did not pay, you will have to pay for the jack and coke before you guys can leave. Keep in mind all this was happening outside in the parking lot. How embarrassing it was. Imagine paying a bill over over two hundred dollars which was not even what we ate or drank, and then being disgraced for less then $20.00 That was rude and disrespectful! I will not be back because not only were we embarrassed, we also got stolen from. And this is not the first time.
