If you're flying at Burbank airport, the location of this Metrolink station absolutely sucks. It's a 30 minute hike north of the airport, if you walk fast. You'll have to walk on Hollywood Way past the large Amazon facilities, by the runway, and through the main entrance leading to the terminals before you can get inside the airport. On top of that, some of the sidewalks are not paved and under construction! Sadly, most of the convenient times for catching Metrolink are at the north station because of the antelope line. The more conveniently located South station is the Ventura line (or Amtrak) and does not have as many convenient times available plus service is not available on weekends. Based on the weather most of the year, you're better off using Uber to get to the station from the airport. But at that rate, is it even worthwhile to use Metrolink...
Read moreThis airport is old school. It is really quaint and reminds me of the airport in Long Beach, CA. Everything was great and easy EXCEPT for the car rentals. It’s “on property” BUT you have to walk a mile and 1/2 to get to the counters. That is the reason for the 3 stars. The airport itself is small, which is nice.
