I use to love this place when Dr. Larson was here she is a great doctor and always sat down with me to explain everything that was going on. This new Dr. Thompson that took over is probably the worst doctor I’ve ever been too. This was one of the scariest experiences I’ve had with my health and expected to talk to the doctor in detail about the results I have been anxiously awaiting for. She didn’t bother to go over the results she said that she didn’t understand why Dr Larson sent me to get a bone marrow biopsy done. When she can clearly see that there was nothing wrong with me. I guess this Dr Thompson has some type of magic powers that can immediately tell if there is something wrong with you without getting any tests done. I’m sorry but when you are sent to an Oncologist a the word Cancer is brought up that’s a very scary thing. I’ve been coming here for almost a full year now trying to deal with the issues I have going on. Dr. Larson would always make sure I understood what was going on and would explain my results to me in detail. Dr Larson took every step to make sure that she was 100% sure of the diagnosis she was giving me. Not take a guess like Dr Thompson. I tried to bring up that my results say I have developed mild anemia which it clearly says I did and Dr Thompson said that I don’t have anemia that she did not see that in the results. I have added a picture below of my biopsy results to show that it does say that I do have anemia. Glad I don’t have to come back. Hopefully everyone else’s experience is...
Read moreI have been Dr. Larson’s patient for three years since I have started my chemotherapy treatment after my ovarian cancer surgery. I followed her from the previous place she worked here to the Los Angeles Cancer Network because I wanted to stay with her being her patient as long as my treatments require. Dr. Larson is a very caring doctor. Always on the top of the treatment issues for the best actions possible to help. She is not just a doctor but someone who treats patients as a whole with respect and compassion for their needs. Dr. Larson’s staff the nurses and the medical assistants as well very friendly and professional. Hasmik, one of the medical assistants who is also with me from the beginning of my treatment. Hasmik is always there for helping every time when I need it. It is always a good time when I have appointments there with them. I have never chosen the telephone appointment because I love the atmosphere being with them. I cannot wish better place for fighting to beat...
