Glass Expressions — Attraction in Burien

I learned so much from Kathy and Lael over the years that I so thankful for. Their teaching is top notch and I highly recommend going and learning this form of art that is slowly becoming lost. If you think you aren't artistic enough, Think again. I can't draw, paint, sketch or sculpt to save my life, After going through their classes I feel like I am a talented artist. I also made lifelong friends there taking the classes. The students are a wonderful group of people!

You can watch stained glass being made. They take custom orders. This is a combination shop/glasswork supply/classes/gallery.

Very reasonably priced. You can buy lampwork beads for 50 cents, slices of dichroic glass for $1.50, magnets for $2, square plate dishes for $6-$25, mini statues, coffee table pieces, etc. They sell slices to make your own glass, and all the tools necessary.

Great stained glass selection. Kathy helped me alot to gather supplies to create a mosaic and begin dipping my toes back into stained glass art. She and her shop are a great resource for local and/or budding artists. Looking forward to coming back for more goodies...
