This place is stupid, and as of tonight we are done. Parking is pain, and if its crowded, the staff is in chaos. Eating in is just as bad as ordering to go. Theres too much going on and theres little space to walk even when its not busy. They cook whatever and they give whatever to whoever. I order the same thing, but the price is never the same. Food is good, but inconsistent. Never been sick, and never heard of anyone getting sick from here over the years, but you also never get what you ordered - even small things like a lid. So long as youre fed the staff doesnt care. Also, if you bring your food back (like we did over the years), you still wont get the right order. Granted, its hard to get mad when you order 3 sopes and they give you chile rellenos with a fat roasted chicken thigh and a side of rice and beans instead. Or carnitas. Its happened to us a few too many times. Tonight I asked for tortillas de maiz with my order and checked it before I left. It was spilling out of the tray, but it seemed fine. When I got home, I found there was 2 tortillas de maiz on top and the rest were de herina which Im allergic to. We kept coming back because theyre 2 miles away from my house, theyre open late, and their agua de Jamaica is BOMB! Unfortunately, tonight I discovered they changed the Jamaica...

This restaurant has been my go to for late night cravings since they’re open late and got some good deals! However 3 things. 1 time I went and ordered 4 things. 3 plates and 1 burrito to go. They called me up and gave me my food. When I got home, 1 plate was missing and they took my receipt when I got the food. Another thing is the Birthday program. They never replied to my application. I thought well at least the free birthday meal would make up for it but nope. The last straw was when I got food poisoning from there. I’ve ordered from there about 13 times or so before the incident. But on this particular order, I ordered a plate of enchiladas and got the free drink. I don’t know if it was the drink or the food. The drink, was a little off when I got it. For one, it was like leaking the gas or something. And 2, it tasted a little off at first, and then super off towards the last bit. The food itself, was kind of bitter. Inside the chicken enchiladas, I felt something slippery ish. I brushed it off and thought it was just a pepper skin or something. About 20 minutes later. I was itching miraculously and when I went to look at my arm, I had hives all over it. It was the first time this had ever happened in my life! This place is extremely busy- obviously they are serving up good food. I ordered a pozole, 2 chicken tacos and a slice of cheesecake. This pozole was delicious(it has pig feet, which I’m not a fan of so I didn’t eat them) the 3crunchy potato tacos that come with the pozole were cooked to perfection and even made me feel nostalgic because one of my close friends used to make these as well when she made pozole and she was only person I ever met that made those. The chicken tacos were for my son- he’s pretty basic. My only complaint is the cheesecake- I’m a cake lover and I was super disappointed with it. It was completely dried out and it tasted like it was left in the walk in cooler without being covered for days, I took one bite and tossed it out (y’all can’t be serving disappointment for dessert- you want costumers to have a completely delicious meal) The condiments should be changed a bit as they add chili flakes to them and not everyone is a fan of those- maybe put the chili flakes inside the disposable sauce container- not mix it with the rest of the condiments.
