Town Square Park — Attraction in Burien

Charming place, as designed. Unfortunately, it's usually overrun with people loitering and leaving trash. The outhouses in front of city hall are unusable and filthy, they don't belong there. The water feature that's designed for children to play in is always broken, and frankly, the kinds of people hanging out and camping nearby aren't ones you should be keeping your kids around. This place has the potential to be stellar, however right now it is only sub-par. Homelessness has crashed the place, and its remnants of what used to be great are slowly disappearing. The fountain and appraisal sites to glorify nature's offerings have been turned into a pissing spot for the local area's surrounding tenantxs poodles. Too bad, because Burien is such a lovely...

Thursday's is the outdoor market with goods grown and produced locally. The library opens at 10 am and is open until 9 pm Monday through Thursday.
