Lake Burien School Memorial Park — Attraction in Burien

Such a wonderfully beautiful park. I live a block away n always love visiting and is so peaceful with birds chirping around filling me with Peace. In such a crazy world we live in these days it's great to have a place to go to that's close by n have a inner peace that gives the sense of serenity. This park is next to Seahurst elementary school which is a beautiful & huge school. Living across from school day or night....its always so quiet even when kids are out playing. I have never heard noises from school which is great since I slept during the morning hours n can sleep with peace since I am never woken up hearing noises not by school, kids, neighbors or anyone. I wish I had this peace & quite when my kids were small, the neighborhood was so noisy and very difficult to sleep even at night for myself as well as my children when they were young. I am thankful for living in such a great neighborhood where everyone feels secure and safe. Thank you to City of Burien for making this area safe for everyone who lives close by or...

This is a great park in Burien. It may not look like much and then you realize its got everything you need and a spacious setting. The tennis courts are often busy there are two of them. The playground just got rebuilt and it is really nice. There’s an excellent walking path that is both paved and also loose gravel rocks for those who jog or walk. There is a big grassy green area or people have everything from picnic to volleyball games to romp with the dog. This park is in the middle of the beautiful Seahurst hood so even a walk around this gorgeous place is nice after or before enjoying the park. On Thursdays the City of Burien puts on a really excellent music concert called music in the park and it is a do not miss event in...

Nice family oriented neighborhood meaning it's generally a safe environment for children between the ages of 8/9-13/14 to hangout ride bikes unsupervised and still feel good about your child's safety and well being. During the Summer now don't quote me on the exact night of the week but I do believe it to be Thursdays(heck it may even change every year) anywho they have an event called Music in the Park. I would highly recommend this for families of any size and age. I enjoyed it as an adolescent[15-19/20]. It is an experience you shouldn't cheat...
