I have never been to a Harbor Freight until a store opened up in Burleson. Honestly, I was skeptical as I feared trash quality since prices were so much cheaper. Well, I've been shopping here for a few months and came to realize that a LOT of their stuff is really good quality. Nothing is a 100% anywhere but they offer cheaper alternatives and for a weekend do it yourself kind of guy like myself they are perfect! I've saved so much money on high quality items it's unbelievable. Set proper expectations and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
The reason I decided to leave a review though is because for the first time shopping here I had an issue with a product. I think it was a manufacturing issue as I had bought two sets of jack stands when they were on sale and one of the pairs was a little different than the other. I went back today to hopefully exchange the item since I didn't have the box. I went to cashier (who greeted me walking in the door btw) and explained my situation. She said okay check on the shelf to see if you can grab one or I'll check in the back. By the time I got back with my item the manager was out asking what had happened. I took one of my jack stands and compared to display model and she said no problem at all exchanging it. She apologized for the trouble, did the quick exchange in register and I was on my way.
I'm still mind blown with the ease of exchange and on top of that the customer service along with it!
I love this store as well as the...
Read moreI’m gonna do something I don’t normally do but cause of the disrespect of the supervisor. I believe her name is Amanda at this location. I’m gonna take the time to do what I am sure other people wish they would have done first of all just so that everyone that reads my review knows this I have been in the automotive business for 35 years. I have bought hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of tools from snap on tool trucks, Cornwell tool trucks Matco and Mack tow trucks. Harbor Frieght has almost nothing in their store that doesn’t come from China and basically everything they have in the store is junk. It is not meant for a professional mechanic to buy his tools at this place. There is a reason why Snap On Tools and the other tool companies are so much more expensive and it’s because the quality of their tools, his hands down light years ahead of this company I would not recommend anyone That is working professionally as a mechanic to buy any tools at all from this company. From the cheapest screwdriver, they have to the most expensive till they have in the place. It is destined to fail, and these people will not be there when something goes wrong. They sell nothing but junk at...
Read moreOh, Harbor Freight, you glorious bazaar of budget-friendly bedazzlement! Walking into your hallowed aisles is like stepping into a pirate’s treasure cave—if that pirate had a fetish for tools, tarps, and suspiciously affordable winches. Five stars for sheer audacity! Where else can you snag a jackhammer for the price of a fancy latte or a welder that might just weld your dreams into reality? The fluorescent glow, the faint whiff of rubber and ambition, the thrill of wondering if that $9.99 socket set will outlive your next project—it’s a rollercoaster of bargain-bin bliss. The staff? They’re like friendly uncles who know just enough to point you toward the discount bin of destiny. Sure, the quality might be a cosmic gamble, but that’s the Harbor Freight charm: every purchase is an adventure, every tool a quirky sidekick in your DIY saga. Keep shining, you wacky wonderland of...
