Burlingame Public Library — Attraction in Burlingame

One of the most beautiful libraries I’ve been in. The second best library I’ve been in was in Los Angeles. I hope it’s still there but this library is beautiful. They have a café and it’s multilevel. They offer so many different resources. It’s unbelievable. This is such a great town for children and adults to be in with so much community Support. Nicely air conditioning for hot summers and cozy in the winter. It’s a great place to go relax or have a free day and read a book. Take your children to actually read books or just have family time without cell phone. You have extra books or you’re moving they have a donation pile box which is great. I never mind donating my books to the library. They give back so much. How could you resist. I mean the building is nice and it's very fancy. Because I had never been to that library I walked into the children section to ask for directions. And the white lady (short haired reddish/blond) treated me like if I was some kind of escaped slave. She was extremely rude. So I found myself wondering around and decided to take a seat. As soon as I sat down here comes the same white lady, fuming and telling me I was in the wrong section. That those tables were for teenagers... Anyway, my experience was not very good. The Burlingame Library curbside pickup program was outstanding during covid and now I'm able to request books and pick them on a shelf on the first floor rather than searching all over for them. Geralynn, has been extremely helpful when I've called to inquire about making copies, overdue books, and other things. I've been visiting the main library for over 50 years and it's always a wonderful experience. The entire staff is excellent and I love the paperback book sale so that I'm able to purchase books for friends who cannot...
