I would give a ZERO if I could.. So I ordered a Chicken Gyro plate and that included chicken, rice, salad and the bread. I got my food within 2 minutes and I was very happy because of the fast service. 10 minutes after eating it, my stomach started twisting and I felt nauseous and spent an hour in the bathroom going #2 and puking. I was at work and finally after an hour, I was able to stand again. I went over after work with my food and my receipt.
I asked to speak to the manager. I told him "Hey, here is my food I ordered and my receipt. I ate your food and I may have food poisoning. I was suspicious when I ordered my food because it was prepared in under 2 minutes. I was wondering if you guys left the food out -- before I was able to finish, he cut me off and scolded at me that they serve the same food all day, and no one has complained, only me. I felt so disrespected that not only did he not listen or apologize.. but he handed my money back like he didn't care to lose a customer. He threw the money at me and I had to pick it up off the floor and I left practically crying. I felt like I was treated like I had just lied to them because I was told that I was the only person to complain. My above comments are based in a comparative of 5 other individual Mediterranean restaurants (serving only such type) after multiple orders from each (at least 3 per) within the past one year & eight months to date (11/13/22) from San Carlos to Millbrae with each being a max of 3 min drive branching off of El Camino.
Always meets & exceeds our expectations. The people at the counter are nice & very accomodating. It's as good a place for one person as for a group. Dining area is good sized with very high ceilings & on nice days there are tables outside. The Mediterranean appetizer combo gives you a sample of many of the delicious appetizers. There's enough appetizers for about 4 adults. The Mediterranean Kabob platter comes with a good sized salad, some chicken breast pieces, which are pretty juicy, a good sized scoop of a rice dish, some sliced pieces of lamb & beef. Big enough to share with 1 other adult. Their salads are good sized & varied. They serve fish, shrimp, chicken, beef & lamb dishes & have skewers too. All platters come with pita. There are a few desserts but I can't say anything about them because I'm always too full to have...
