Paper Source — Attraction in Burlingame

My mother and uncle, who were the only mexicans at this paper source, were racially profiled this morning by an employee named Linda. While everyone was receiving regular customer service, Linda almost refused my family service as she asked them a million times if they were sure they wanted to purchase the paper as it would be “too expensive for them.” My mother said that prices and money weren’t an issue to which Linda replied “You are not listening to me, these services are TOO expensive for you.” My uncle’s accent is strong but very understandable and in his broken english he told her that it wasn’t her business if it was expensive or not and that she was assuming they didn’t have money which is discrimination, to which Linda acted as if she couldn’t understand him. I came here on a Thursday afternoon and it was not as busy as I expected (which was hordes of people since it is during the holiday season). Paper Source is on the main street where all the stores are at so you have to spend a bit of time trying to find parking.

Specifically, I was looking for alphabet rubber stamps and a staff member quickly helped me locate them, although they are quite expensive @ $23+ (when compared to the set of alphabet + numbers for $14 down the street at Barnes and Nobles). If I remember correctly, there were about 2-3 sets with different fonts to choose from.

Apparently if you have a Barnes and Nobles membership, you can use it here at Paper Source and earn stamps.

Also if this helps anyone, at the time I went, I saw they had dual tip tombow brush pens as well as...

I'm such a girly girl when it comes to cards and those nice little agendas and wrapping paper.... If you're like me you're gonna like this place.
